TL;DR: In this article, a paver (100) has a towing machine, a movable screed (4) and a measuring device (60) with an inclination sensor for determining a layer thickness (9) of a road pavement (6) that is newly laid by the screed.
Abstract: The paver (100) has a towing machine (50), a movable screed (4) and a measuring device (60) with an inclination sensor for determining a layer thickness (9) of a road pavement (6) that is newly laid by the screed. The measuring device (60) determines the layer thickness (9) at an intended location (8) relative to a direction (V) of travel behind a rear edge (10) of the screed (4). The measuring device (60) is mounted on the paver (100) to enable determination of the thickness (9) of the layer independently of a geometric shape and/or a movement of the screed (4).

TL;DR: In this paper, a machine train composed of a road milling machine and a road finisher is characterized, in which the road miller has a profile data determining device and the road finishers has a levelling device.
Abstract: The invention relates to a machine train composed of a road milling machine 1 that travels in front and comprises a machine frame 3 supported by crawler tracks 3, 4 or wheels and a milling drum 10 arranged on the machine frame that is for milling away material, and to a road finisher 16 that travels behind and comprises a machine frame 18 which is supported by crawler tracks 17 or wheels and on which a reservoir 19 for material to be laid and a screed 20 for laying material are arranged. The invention also relates to a method for operating a machine train composed of a road milling machine travelling in front and a road finisher travelling behind. The machine train composed of the road milling machine and the road finisher is characterized in that the road milling machine 1 has a profile data determining device 33, wherein the profile data determining device 33 is configured so that a sequence of height profile data describing the height of the road surface in the longitudinal direction is determined while the road milling machine advances. For transmission of the height profile data, a data transmission device 27 is provided on the road milling machine 1 and a data receiving device 27 is provided on the road finisher 16. To change the position of the screed 20, the road finisher 1 has a levelling device 23 that comprises at least one actuator 24 and a controller 23A, which is configured so that the controller 23A generates a control signal for controlling the at least one actuator 24 in accordance with a height profile data set.

TL;DR: In this article, a flexible carrier is used to cover a glass fiber mat with a heating wire mounted within it, which is allowed to penetrate the carrier to envelop the heating wire before it finally cures.
Abstract: The heating mat consists of a porous flexible carrier (4) e.g. a glass fibre mat with a heating wire (5) mounted within it. The carrier is laid upon an insulating layer of hard foam (1) which is provided with a thin water barrier (1') on its upper side, and then covered on top with finishing material (3) like screed. This is allowed to penetrate the carrier to envelop the heating wire before it finally cures. Another form has the heating wire embedded in a glue layer upon which flagstones can be laid for direct floor heating. ADVANTAGE - Uniform heat dissipation; requires no separate mounting plate.

TL;DR: A lifting-lowering floor is composed of screw shafts 8 disposed upright along the side walls 2 of a water tank 1, fixed nuts 14 screed to the screw shaft 8 penetrated to through-holes 13 formed to the supporting sections 12 of the floor 11 at the lower-side positions of the through-hole 13 in the state that the floor11 is prevented from rotating as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To not only improve usability but also safely hold a lifting-lowering floor surely at a fixed depth position without the rocking of the floor in the case of lifting and lowering and in the case of stop, and to drive the floor by small power. SOLUTION: A lifting-lowering device for the lifting-lowering floor is composed of screw shafts 8 disposed upright along the side walls 2 of a water tank 1, fixed nuts 14 screed to the screw shafts 8 penetrated to through-holes 13 formed to the supporting sections 12 of the floor 11 at the lower-side positions of the through-holes 13 in the state that the floor 11 is prevented from rotating, and driving devices 6 for the screw shafts 8 arranged to the upper section of the water tank 1.

TL;DR: In this paper, a screed hardware unit is placed on a surface such that the post extends vertically from the base of the base, and concrete is poured up to and around the hardware unit, and the concrete is screeded at the grade indicated by the height of the unit.
Abstract: A method including placing a screed hardware unit upright on a surface. The hardware unit includes a base and a post. The base is fastened on the surface such that the post extends vertically from the base. The method further includes adjusting a height of the hardware unit so as to be consistent with a desired grade. Concrete is poured up to and/or around the hardware unit, and the concrete is screeded at the grade indicated by the height of the hardware unit.
