TL;DR: The utility model provided a permeable pavement structure has solved present impermeable pavement and has led to the fact surface water loss, groundwater shortage, the travelling comfort that reducesthe road and security, destruction city earth's surface living environment scheduling problem as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The utility model provides a permeable pavement structure has solved present impermeable pavement and has led to the fact surface water loss, groundwater shortage, the travelling comfort that reducesthe road and security, destruction city earth's surface living environment scheduling problem. The utility model discloses a surface course, screed -coat and the bed course that set gradually extremely down on the follow, the sediment percentage of surface course, screed -coat and bed course all is less than 6%, the bed course includes permeable base layer and permeates water the underlayment, thewater content of underlayment and screed -coat of permeating water all is less than 5%, the thickness of surface course is 60mm to 80mm, the thickness of screed -coat is 20mm to 40mm, the thickness of bed course is 100mm to 300mm. The utility model discloses be favorable to urban waterlogging's link, improved the security and the travelling comfort in city, purified the rainwater in the infiltration with when holding the surface runoff that stagnates, reduced soil erosion and water loss, strengthened the rainwater and retrieved and utilize, abundant replenish underground water source, reduction heat island effect, improvement atmosphere weather is suitable for and uses widely.

TL;DR: The vertical screed is a simple, inexpensive and highly flexible apparatus that may be used for a wide variety of applications that involve the applying of cementicious material in the construction of a vertical structure as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: This invention discloses a method of building concrete walls, columns and other vertical or sloped structures using a vertically oriented vibrating screed and utilization of the thixotropic properties of wet concrete. The vertical screed is a simple, inexpensive and highly flexible apparatus that may be used for a wide variety of applications that involve the applying of cementicious material in the construction of a vertical structure. By using highly thixotropic concrete, the vertical screed is able to place concrete and other cementicious materials in a vertical plane much like concrete is placed with vibrating screeds in the horizontal plane. The vertical screed's applications range from applying a thin cementicious coating to placing concrete in a vertical plane to construct a wall or column. The various configurations of the vertical screed range from a small hand held device to a much larger mechanically controlled apparatus.

TL;DR: In this paper, a spreader box for spreading cold mixed asphaltic concrete paving mixtures including a supporting frame or "bridge" attached to a left and right side plate is described.
Abstract: A spreader box for spreading cold mixed asphaltic concrete paving mixtures including a supporting frame or "bridge" attached to a left and right side plate Within the spreader box and at the front portion of the box is situated a left and right side hydraulic motor or other power means, which is used to power a left and right side auger for lateral distribution of the paving mixture Adjustment means on each end and in the middle to allow for vertical adjustment of the distribution auger A left and right side "ROLLING SCREED" roll which has an adjustment means on each end and in the middle to allow for vertical adjustment of depth of spread A left and right side compression roll which has adjustment means at each end and in the center for vertical adjustment of down pressure Screed roll and compression roll connected by chain and sprocket or other power transfer means One or more wheels or caterpillar tracks are mounted on each side plate

TL;DR: In this paper, the screed box (12) rides coplanar to the road surface by pivoting independently of the thermo striper machine (16), which allows the user to create more uniform lines and reduces unsightly pooling of thermoplastic caused by "rocking" of the box.
Abstract: The screed box (12) rides coplanar to the road surface (14) by pivoting independently of the thermo striper machine (16). This allows the user to create more uniform lines and reduces unsightly pooling of thermoplastic caused by "rocking" of the screed box (12). A machined shaft (18) attached to the screed box (12) pivots in the pre-tensioned mounting bracket (20) on the thermo striper (16). The screed box (12) pivots axially in this mount (20) when it travels over a surface (14), which may be non-coplanar to the plane created by the three wheel points on the thermo striper (16) as shown in Figures 4 and 5. To remove the screed die (12), the pivot mount (20) is relieved of spring (24) tension by pressing down by hand or foot the handle (22) mounted to the pivot (20).

TL;DR: In this article, a system for controlling heating of a screed plate includes a second temperature sensor along the paving material delivery path to monitor an actual paving material temperature of a paving material being applied to a work surface.
Abstract: A system for controlling heating of a screed plate includes screed plate disposed along the paving material delivery path. A first temperature sensor is operative to monitor a screed plate temperature and a second temperature sensor along the paving material delivery path is operative to monitor an actual paving material temperature of a paving material being applied to a work surface. A controller is configured to determine an estimated paving material temperature adjacent the screed plate based upon the actual paving material temperature and operate a heater to maintain the screed plate temperature within a temperature variation range relative to the estimated paving material temperature.
