TL;DR: In this article, a concrete screed comprising an elongate frame with a first longitudinally extending screed plate connected to a leading portion of the frame, and a second longitudinal-extending screedplate connected to the frame rearwardly of the first plate was mounted on a plow body.
Abstract: A concrete screed comprising an elongate frame with a first longitudinally extending screed plate connected to a leading portion of the frame, and a second longitudinally extending screed plate connected to the frame rearwardly of the first screed plate. A plow body is mounted on the frame in close proximity to the first screed plate and presents discrete surface portions, comprising: (i) a first generally horizontal surface portion, extending forwardly from the vicinity of the first screed plate to a front leading edge and generally horizontally aligned with the first screed plate, and (ii) a second surface portion integrally joined to the front leading edge of the first surface portion and extending upwardly therefrom to an upper edge. Means are coupled to the frame for translating it along concrete to be screeded, whereby the first and second screed plates and plow body are brought into operative screeding engagement with the concrete. Means for maintaining longitudinal alignment of the frame during the screeding operation are also disclosed.

11 Mar 1993TL;DR: In this article, a modular screed assembly attachment for an asphalt paving machine having a main screed unit, including a support assembly that is detachably connectable to the main scree unit, a movable carriage slidably mounted on the support assembly, and a platform assembly movably connected to the movable carabiner.
Abstract: of EP0560360In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, a modular screed assembly attachment for an asphalt paving machine having a main screed unit, includes a support assembly that is detachably connectable to the main screed unit, a movable carriage slidably mounted on the support assembly, and a platform assembly movably connected to the movable carriage. The modular screed assembly attachment also includes means for moving the carriage between a position adjacent the main screed unit and a position spaced from the main screed unit, and means for selectively positioning the platform assembly elevationally with respect to the carriage.

TL;DR: In this paper, a panel for use in the installation of an underfloor heating system is formed of a foamed plastic material and has a number of channels formed in its upper surface.
Abstract: A panel (10) for use in the installation of an underfloor heating system is formed of a foamed plastic material and has a number of channels (11) formed in its upper surface Each channel (11) includes first sections (11a) in which a heating pipe (12) is a close fit and sections (11b) which are of substantially greater width than the sections (11a) and receive a thermally conductive material, eg the screed (15), so that the thermally conductive material acts as a heat diffuser for the heating pipe (12)

TL;DR: In this article, the use of a binder system comprising aluminium oxide, silicon oxide and titanium oxide for producing a screed, in particular a white screed having high light reflection, spot resistance and easy cleanability, was proposed.
Abstract: The use of a binder system comprising Compounds containing aluminium oxide, Silicon oxide and titanium oxide for producing a screed, in particular a white screed having high light reflection, spot resistance and easy cleanability, characterized in that the sum of the oxides calculated as AI2O3, SiO2 and TiO2 in the binder system is ≥ 41 % by weight, based on the water-free binder system, is proposed.
