TL;DR: In this paper, a footfall-sound insulating floor structure is proposed, which comprises a layer approx. 15-35 mm thick of a cement-based, fiber-reinforced, self-leveling, rapidly hardening, rapidly drying and shrinkage-compensated slurry screed cast on top of a foot-fall sound insulating material layer.
Abstract: The invention relates to a footfall-sound insulating floor structure which comprises a layer approx. 15-35 mm thick of a cement-based, fiber-reinforced, self-leveling, rapidly hardening, rapidly drying and shrinkage-compensated slurry screed cast on top of a footfall-sound insulating material layer, this layer combination being formed either on top of a new concrete floor having a thickness determined by the footfall-sound standards, alternately the strength standards, or as a renovation layer on top of an already existing load-bearing base. The invention also relates to a method for forming such a floor structure.

TL;DR: In this paper, the utility model provides a screed device of a paver and the paver comprising the screed devices, which can adjust the length of the support pull rods through telescopic amount of adjusting hydro-cylinders.
Abstract: The utility model provides a screed device of a paver and the paver comprising the screed device. The screed device comprises a basic section screed component, a horizontal pull rod, a lengthening section screed component and a support pull rod component, wherein the basic section screed component comprises two sections of basic section screeds which are arranged in a bilateral symmetry mode, the lengthening section screed component comprises two unilateral lengthening section screed groups which are arranged at two sides of the basic section screed component in a bilateral symmetry mode, each unilateral lengthening section screed group comprises at least one section of lengthening section screed, the support pull rod component comprises two groups of unilateral support pull rod groups which are arranged at one corresponding side of the basic section screeds and situated between the unilateral lengthening section screed groups in a bilateral symmetry mode, each unilateral support pull rod group comprises at least one support pull rod, and each support pull rod comprises an adjusting hydro-cylinder. The screed device of the paver can adjust the length of the support pull rods through telescopic amount of the adjusting hydro-cylinders, thereby widening the adjusting range of the support pull rods, and lowering labor intensity for an operator in adjustment of the length of the support pull rods.

TL;DR: In this article, a floor-levelling compound for finishing or making good solid floors consisting predominantly of cement screed or anhydrite screed with the aim of minimal damage in the levelling layer and an increase in adhesion as compared with gypsum masses.
Abstract: Floor-levelling compound for finishing or making good solid floors consisting predominantly of cement screed or anhydrite screed with the aim of minimal damage in the levelling layer and an increase in adhesion as compared with gypsum masses. The object of improving the swelling and shrinking behaviour in addition the an improvement in strength is achieved according to the invention in that the starting mass consists of 50 to 99.8 parts of anhydrite and activator salts, zero to 50 parts of superfine aggregates, 0.1 to 1 part of plasticiser and 0.1 to 1 part of an adhesion promoter.

TL;DR: An ad hoc experimental study has been carried out on three different types of shear connectors, aiming to compare their performances, and the experimental tests and results are widely discussed, in comparison with commonly used theoretical models.
Abstract: Refurbishment of existing buildings often claims for strengthening and stiffening of timber floors. To avoid too heavy interventions, this need is particularly relevant in seismic zones and/or for historical buildings, not only to preserve historical value, but also to contain the masses. A solution commonly adopted is to substitute the screed with a thin reinforced concrete or lightweight reinforced concrete slab duly connected to the timber beams, in such a way that a composite timber-concrete floor is obtained, granting also a sufficient rigidity in the horizontal plane. Moreover, this solution has also the advantage to improve the acoustic performance. Of course, the behavior of the composite structure depends on the rigidity of the shear connections. Since several type of shear connectors are available, the experimental assessment of its static and fatigue behavior is a prerequisite for a suitable design of the intervention. Aiming to compare their performances, an ad hoc experimental study has been carried out on three different types of shear connectors. The fatigue tests have been performed on a composite wood-concrete beam. During each test, 15000 loading-unloading cycles have been applied, recording the deformations and the relative slip. After completion of the load cycles, static load has been applied till to collapse. In the paper, the experimental tests and results are widely discussed, also in comparison with commonly used theoretical models, and relevant conclusions are drawn
