Abstract: A vibratory concrete screed includes a generally triangular, open support frame to which front and rear screed blades are coupled. Air vibrators are coupled at intervals along the front and rear screed blades to impart vibratory motion to the blades. First and second end brackets are coupled to the screed top pipe and to the front and rear screed blades and include first and second side members which define a plane oriented perpendicular to the front and rear screed blades. A vertically and horizontally adjustable extension bracket is coupled to the first and second side members of the end bracket of the screed and is maintained in a plane perpendicular to the plane defined by the first and second side members of the end bracket.

Abstract: A corner tool for applying mastic material to an external corner formed by two walls which come together at approximately 90°, said tool comprising a retainer for mastic material that defines a cavity open in two convergent and substantially perpendicular planes, including a pair of slotted screed plates that extend substantially perpendicular to each other and transverse relative to the external corner, and means for positioning the mastic retainer relative to the external corner to maintain the slotted plates in contact with the two walls forming the corner while positioning the cavity in open-spaced relationship to the walls.

In apparatus for levelling and compacting freshly poured concrete, a slotted guide having an inclined leading edge 18a is drawn through the concrete to position a divider strip 37a therein, the guide having a transverse vibrator 32. The two side plates of the guide are spaced by packing strips to form the slot for the plastic strip 37a fed from a roll in a container 38 through felt wiper pads 47. The upwardly and forwardly sloping bottom edge 18a of the guide assists its passage through the concrete, the guide being resiliently mounted from the frame 21 of slip-form paving machine having a distributing car, a pan type screed member and following float pan and V-float.

Abstract: A paving screed comprises a base screed and extension screeds each of which is support via an extension guiding structure at a guidance fixed in the base screed such that each extension screed can be extended and retracted. A multiple point suspension is provided between the extension guiding structure and the guidance. A frame carrying the sole plate of the extension screed A is arranged below the extension guiding structure. Substantially vertical adjustment assemblies make it possible to adjust the height position of the frame via drives. A lateral inclination adjustment assembly is provided structurally separated from the adjustment assemblies either for the frame or within the frame for the sole plate of the extension screed.

Abstract: A concrete dispensing apparatus is used in a manufacturing process for producing pre-cast concrete structures, which are conventionally used to form a foundation for a residential or commercial building. The dispensing apparatus includes a hopper that funnels to a discharge opening extending along the entire transverse length of the dispensing apparatus. A plurality of individually controlled gates cover the entire discharge opening for selectively controlling the length and location of the discharge opening through which concrete is dispensed. The dispensing apparatus also includes a finishing mechanism including a vibratory screed and a rotational finishing roller. The form can be moved relative to the dispensing apparatus or vice versa. A form vibrator induces a vibratory motion into the form to remove air from the dispensed concrete mixture. Operative control is accomplished through an operator control panel operable to control a hydraulic system powering the operative functions of the dispensing apparatus.
