TL;DR: In this paper, a road finishing machine comprising at least one screed, a machine control, and a ventilation system including a fan can be switched on or off via the machine control automatically independent of the operator and exclusively depending on demand.
Abstract: In a road finishing machine comprising at least one screed, a machine control, and a ventilation system including a fan, the fan can be switched on or off via the machine control automatically independent of the operator and exclusively depending on demand. According to the invention, before or during the laying operation, a defined demand for the operation of the ventilation system is determined, and during or for the laying operation, the ventilation system is operated independent of the operator and automatically, and optionally power-controlled, upon determination of the defined demand.

TL;DR: In this article, a road finisher consisting of a screed plate and/or a tamper bar is described. But this is not the case for the present paper. And also, the tamper is equipped with a heating layer applied by thermal spraying.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a road finisher comprising a screed plate and/or a tamper bar and also to a screed plate and/or tamper bar comprising a heating layer applied by thermal spraying.

TL;DR: The Concrete Screed Handle assembly as mentioned in this paper provides a comfortable and stable grasping mechanism for an individual who wishes to put a screed board into a side-to-side motion while advancing it over a wet concrete surface.
Abstract: The invention is a Concrete Screed Handle assembly which provides a comfortable and stable grasping mechanism for an individual who wishes to put a screed board into a side-to-side motion while advancing it over a wet concrete surface. It is of tubular construction, inverted U-shaped while being used, and has two clamping points roughly shoulder width apart which mount onto the top of the screed board. The clamps on the handle assembly are hand-tightened through threaded bolt/stop assembly which, through a pivoting lever action, clamps the screed board to the handle assembly.

TL;DR: In this paper, a paving machine having a tractor and a screed means extending transversely across the rear end and connected to the tractor pulling arms on each side thereof, a control system automatically maintains the grade and slope of the screed as the tractor moves over an irregular surface.
Abstract: In a paving machine having a tractor and a screed means extending transversely across the rear end and connected to the tractor pulling arms on each side thereof, a control system automatically maintains the grade and slope of the screed as the tractor moves over an irregular surface. A photoelectric sensing means measures vertical deviation from a reference plane, produces a signal that is amplified to actuate an electrically operated valve means actuating a power means that controls the grade of one side of the screed. A second photoelectric sensing means measures the vertical movement of the opposite side relative to the first side, and produces a signal that is amplified to control a second electrically operated valve means that controls a second power means and said opposite side of the screed, thereby maintaining the screed at a constant slope.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe a connection between boards and a substructure to form a cover, typically a terrace cover, where two differently acting compound parts extend to the edges of the lower surfaces of the piles between these and the substructure.
Abstract: The invention relates to a connection between boards (11, 12, 13) and a substructure (2) to form a cover, typically a terrace cover. Two differently acting compound parts extend to the edges of the lower surfaces of the piles between these and the substructure. Each of the two connecting parts connected to the bottom of a pile. The first connecting portion (31, 131) protrudes at one side of the screed, and under this there is connected to the substructure. The second connecting portion (32, 132) extends on the other side of the screed on this projecting and extending there further to below the next pile.
