TL;DR: In this article, a device for screeding and finishing concrete pavements having an elongate sectional framework, turnbuckles between framework sections to provide a crown or sag, a rotating shaft with eccentric weights driven by an internal combustion engine to impart vibration, hydraulic pumps and motors driving winches for self-propulsion of the device across the concrete.
Abstract: A device for screeding and finishing concrete pavements having an elongate sectional framework, turnbuckles between framework sections to provide a crown or sag, a rotating shaft with eccentric weights driven by an internal combustion engine to impart vibration, hydraulic pumps and motors driving winches for self-propulsion of the device across the concrete. The screed bars are hollow rectangular members having two useable wearing surfaces. The screed bars may be rotated to bring their second wearing surfaces into contact with the concrete.

TL;DR: A material leveling system includes a leveling-implement assembly adapted for leveling material to a final grade level, a frame supporting the assembly, and an implement positioning assembly controlling the position of the assembly relative to the frame as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: A material leveling system includes a leveling-implement assembly adapted for leveling material to a final grade level, a frame supporting the leveling-implement assembly, and an implement positioning assembly controlling the position of the leveling-implement assembly relative to the frame. The leveling-implement assembly includes an implement that contacts a construction material during the leveling process.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to control a screed to come to an optimum desired-value by detecting a compaction degree after the compaction of a finisher, and by comparing a desired pavement value, found from a desired density, a desired paved thickness, and with a present paved thickness to control them.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To control a screed to come to an optimum desired-value, by detecting a compaction degree after the compaction of a finisher, and by comparing a desired pavement value, found from a desired density, a desired paved thickness, and the compaction degree, with a present paved thickness, to control them. CONSTITUTION:A paved thickness measuring control means is basically composed of a paved thickness measuring section 20, a desired paved thickness processing section 50, an adding point 52 for finding a deviation between a paved thickness T(x) and a desired pavement value Ta, and a screed angle actuator 54 controlled by the deviation. Then, arithmetic is performed on the paved thickness T(x), through a level before pavement Sc, a level after the pavement Se, front wheel warping Wf, rear wheel warping Wr, and a running distance. In the meantime, arithmetic is performed on the desired pavement value Ta, through the density Pa of a paved road surface, a desired paved thickness Tt, and a desired density Pt. As a result, after compaction, the paved thickness and density are not measured, and the pavement of a desired designing value can be executed.

TL;DR: In this article, the roller-blind casing is arranged in the wall-outer-side lintel region of a wall opening, the roller blind casing is plugged onto guide rails which are fastened laterally on the vertical legs of a window frame.
Abstract: The roller-blind casing is arranged in the wall-outer-side lintel region of a wall opening, the roller-blind casing (5) being plugged onto guide rails (9) which are fastened laterally on the vertical legs of a window frame (8). It has a rolling-up reel (6) for the roller blind and a releasably arranged covering (15) which is located beneath the rolling-up reel (6), closes off the lower opening of the roller-blind casing (5) and on whose front border there is provided a plastering screed (13) which serves as a bottom termination and as a means for delimiting the end-side roller-blind-casing covering, which is to be covered over by plaster (14). The plastering screed (13) is releasably fastened on the front longitudinal side of the covering (15) by fastening means (18) which are to be introduced from underneath and/or it is attached on the front longitudinal side of the covering (15) by adhesive bonding, with the interposition of an insulating sheet (20). After mounting on site and after finishing the plastering work, the releasable fastening means are removed (Fig. 1).

TL;DR: In this paper, a table for compacting and finishing comprises a central element (11) and two lateral elements (12a, 12b) which are movable in the transverse direction relative to the central element, each of which carries a boom (18a, 18b) for spraying binder.
Abstract: of EP0418105The screed (table) for compacting and finishing comprises a central element (11) and two lateral elements (12a, 12b) which are movable in the transverse direction relative to the central element (11). Each of the lateral parts (12a, 12b) of the compacting screed (table) carries a boom (18a, 18b) for spraying binder. The booms (18a, 18b) form a spraying assembly whose width is variable as a function of the width of the compacting screed (table). A trough (25), integral with one of the booms (18a) and arranged substantially over its entire length, makes it possible to recover the bitumen jets (22) of the boom (18a) in the overlap zone of length L between the booms (18a) and (18b).
