TL;DR: In this article, a gateway is used to collect user information, such as physiological, audio, video, and proximity information, and send the user information to remote service providers through one or more head-end servers.
Abstract: A system, device, and method for remote monitoring and servicing uses a gateway to collect user information, such as physiological, audio, video, and proximity information. The gateway processes the user information locally, and may send the user information or other information, such as alarms, to remote service providers through one or more head-end servers. The gateway also allows service provider information, such as audio and video information, to be conveyed from the service providers to the users. The gateway may output video information on a predetermined television channel, and may output audio information on the predetermined television channel or to a wireless remote controller with in-built speaker. The gateway may receive audio information from the user via a wireless remote controller with in-built microphone. The gateway provide for videoconferencing between the user and one or more remote service providers.

Abstract: A service gateway provides a proxy between a client protocol and a plurality of standard communication protocols. The service gateway provides asymmetrical routing, data compression and encryption to optimize client processing power and communication link bandwidth. The service gateway enables content translation between clients and service providers. The service gateway keeps track of client available memory and sequence numbers in messages to generate error codes when applicable. A store and forward message capability is provided along with abstract session identifiers. The service gateway supports user datagram protocol.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a computer-implemented method/system (see Fig. 1) for facilitating communications between service providers and potential customers for services, including purchasing groups, particularly buyer-driven service related interactions.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a computer-implemented method/system (see fig. 1) for facilitating communications between service providers and potential customers for services. The system provides a marketplace for interactions, both online and off-line, between service providers (150,152,156) and potential customers, including purchasing groups, particularly buyer-driven service related interactions. The marketplace advantageously allows categorizations, key word searching, group purchasing, service packaging, data mining, auctions and other commercial features and functionality. Service providers are able to efficiently extend the reach of their marketing and promotional activities to many customers, and customers are able to initiate access service providers suited to meet their needs producing buyer-driven commerce.

TL;DR: A multimethod, multisource analysis and synthesis of the degree to which contemporary family-oriented early intervention policies and practices are family centered indicates a movement toward adoption of family-centered early intervention Policies and practices at the different levels of analysis.
Abstract: This article includes a multimethod, multisource analysis and synthesis of the degree to which contemporary family-oriented early intervention policies and practices are family centered. Federal laws and legislation, state-level policy positions, and the viewpoints of service providers and consumers were analyzed as part of the study. The findings, taken together, indicate a movement toward adoption of family-centered early intervention policies and practices at the different levels of analysis. There are, however, discrepancies between what state-level policymakers and "street-level" providers and consumers see as current beliefs and practices within states.
