TL;DR: The social needs, framework composition, main functions and expected objectives of the system are introduced, the existing main problems and development bottlenecks are analyzed, in combination with the teaching practice, and the experience of distance teaching through the actual applications are shared.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a protocol that allows a cellular phone to send a printing request to a printer using a protocol allowed to connect bi-directionally between an internal network and an external network at the firewalls.
Abstract: The cellular phone 1 a sends a printing request to the PC 2 using a protocol that is allowed to connect bi-directionally between an internal network and an external network at the firewalls 5 a and 5 b, the PC 2 uploads a printing job to the file server 4 using a protocol that is allowed to connect only from an internal network to an external network at the firewall 5 a, and the printer 3 a downloads the printing job to print from the file server 4 using a protocol that is allowed to connect only from an internal network to an external network at the firewall 5 b. The present invention enables one to form images of files stored on an image forming data transmission device on a first intranet on an image forming device on a second intranet using a portable terminal and a file server on an external network.

TL;DR: The aim of this project is to develop a general-purpose multi-core platform for real-time systems as well as tools supporting its use (compiler, simulator, and worst-case execution time analysis tool).
Abstract: This paper addresses the design of networks-on-chips for use in multi-processor systems-on-chips - the hardware platforms used in embedded systems. These platforms typically have to guarantee real-time properties, and as the network is a shared resource, it has to provide service guarantees (bandwidth and/or latency) to different communication flows. The paper reviews some past work in this field and the lessons learned, and the paper discusses ongoing research conducted as part of the project "Time-predictable Multi-Core Architecture for Embedded Systems" (T-CREST), supported by the European Commissions seventh framework programme. The aim of this project is to develop a general-purpose multi-core platform for real-time systems as well as tools supporting its use (compiler, simulator, and worst-case execution time analysis tool).

TL;DR: A resource negotiation technique and apparatus which streamlines arbitration for access to a shared resource by centralizing arbitration for groups of shared resources such as control registers into an access register is presented in this paper.
Abstract: A resource negotiation technique and apparatus which streamlines arbitration for access to a shared resource by centralizing arbitration for groups of shared resources such as control registers into an access register An accessing agent first writes a request to an appropriate bit of a resource negotiation register (RNR), and then reads back a grant status If the request for access to the shared resource is not successful in the first attempt, the requesting processor may continuously read the grant status until it is successful Alternatively, the resource negotiation register may cause an interrupt in the requesting processor upon grant of access to the shared resource A logic level indicating that access is denied generally indicates that another processor in the multi-processor system is currently granted access to the corresponding shared resource Once the processor requesting permission for writing to the shared resource has been granted permission, that winning processor is expected to complete its access to the shared resource, and then indicate back to the shared resource negotiator that access is no longer required, eg, by clearing the corresponding request bit
