TL;DR: Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has a satisfied recognition precision and low time complexity which could be conducted on mobile forensics devices with high efficiency.
Abstract: Due to the limited computing ability of current mobile computing platform, many intelligent applications are hard to be implemented, such as some complex pattern recognition algorithms. This paper proposes a kind of fast hybrid feature based progressive person recognition algorithm for forensics application which form the candidate set according to the biometric feature first and then conduct face recognition algorithm in the candidate set. A bionic pattern recognition based face recognition algorithm is also proposed. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has a satisfied recognition precision and low time complexity which could be conducted on mobile forensics devices with high efficiency.

TL;DR: This project is software based and Daugman's calculation is utilizing for iris recognition, Euclidean distance calculation is utilized for face, fingerprint recognition and the proposed approach displays high level of precision.
Abstract: A need objective of the utilization of biometrics is to give character confirmation or the capacity to precisely perceive people. Biometric frameworks have fundamentally enhanced individual recognizable proof and confirmation, assuming a critical part in individual, national and worldwide security. Three biometric recognition are utilized as a part of this project. Face recognition, Fingerprint recognition, Iris recognition is done in this project. Daugman's calculation is utilized for iris recognition, Euclidean distance calculation is utilized for face, fingerprint recognition. The proposed approach displays high level of precision. The database of authorized and unauthorized is used in this project. This project is software based.

TL;DR: This work studies the effect of using multiple visual tandem features to improve audio-visual recognition accuracy and investigates methods to combine outputs of several audio and visual tandem classifiers with a classifier fusion system to generate outputs using learned weights.
Abstract: “Tandem approach” is a method used in speech recognition to increase performance by using classifier posterior probabilities as observations in a hidden Markov model. In this work we study the effect of using multiple visual tandem features to improve audio-visual recognition accuracy. In addition, we investigate methods to combine outputs of several audio and visual tandem classifiers with a classifier fusion system to generate outputs using learned weights. Experiments show that both approaches help to improve audio-visual speech recognition with respect to regular audio-visual speech recognition especially in noisy environments.

TL;DR: The proposed paper present slope based method to identify the signature using various parameters like speed, time, pressure, movement of signature, accuracy and matching percentage of two signature etc.
Abstract: In the era of growing technology, security is the major concern to avoid fakes and forgeries. There are various biometric technique which help in personal identification, among those verification systems, one system is Signature Verification System, Signature is a behavioral biometric. It is not based on figure print ,retina or any facial expression, according to the data available in the input, signature verification split into two part: Online and Offline. It also referred as static and dynamic. Signature verification also used to provide authentication to user. The main advantages of signature verification are that it used for ebusiness which helps in banking applications. The proposed paper present slope based method to identify the signature using various parameters like speed, time, pressure, movement of signature, accuracy and matching percentage of two signature etc.

TL;DR: This paper presents a stroke-matching algorithm of handwritten signature verification that is effectual to be examined by signature data from SVC 2004, and introduces distance calculation formula based on weighting H′ module to calculate the difference between input signatures and true signatures.
Abstract: On-line signature handwritten verification is a topic in the field of biometric authentication nowBy comparing the picture, stroke, speed and pressure of input signaturs with genuine signatures in database, the computer can distinguish the true or false of a handwritten signature real-timelyStroke-matching and result judgment are the keys to this problemThis paper presents a stroke-matching algorithm of handwritten signature verificationThe algorithm is effectual to be examined by signature data from SVC 2004(First International Signature Verification Competition)The FRR(False Reject Ratio) is 20% and all forgeries are rejectedThe paper also introduces distance calculation formula based on weighting H′ module to calculate the difference between input signatures and true signaturesOn-line signature handwritten verification is very convenient,quick-made,suitable to verification and its effectiveness has been illustrated by practical examples
