TL;DR: In this paper, a method of detecting pauses within a measurement signal is proposed, which takes advantage of the fact that the analysis of the signal pattern is carried out in several time slices and individual results of the analysis are processed through various stages of a detection system.
Abstract: The invention concerns a method of detecting pauses within a measurement signal. The invention preferably takes advantage of the fact that the analysis of the signal pattern is carried out in several time slices and the individual results of the analysis are processed through various stages of a detection system. Special hidden-Markov models are trained for pause conditions and compared with feature vectors derived from the measurement signal in the first stage of the method. If the probability of the presence of the pause is greater than the probability of the presence of other patterns, then this information is transmitted to the first signal-processing stage and the measurement signal classified there as a pause. The method proposed has the advantage that it facilitates detection of pauses when interference of the measurement signal results in a very low signal-to-noise ratio. The method can be used for signature recognition, speech recognition and the recognition of communications signals.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for performing electronic signature verification for an entity is provided, which includes creating a signature card for the entity by analyzing color change frequency of an initial electronic signature image.
Abstract: A method for performing electronic signature verification for an entity is provided. The method includes creating a signature card for the entity by analyzing color change frequency of an initial electronic signature image. The method also includes comparing a second electronic signature image for the entity and the signature card to perform electronic signature verification.

TL;DR: The digital signature excluding the use of the inverse element causing the problem in the environment having the limited resource and the effective blind signature technique based on the suggested digital signature is suggested.
Abstract: The various services for the electronic document were able to be provided as the information and communication technique develop and the commercial use on the Internet increase. But because of the feature of the electronic document, we came to need the manual signature written on the paper or digital signature having the effect of the seal. In this article, we studied the representative digital signature based on the difficulty of discrete logarithm problem and the difficulty of the factorization and the blind signature based on that digital signature. Further, we suggested the digital signature excluding the use of the inverse element causing the problem in the environment having the limited resource and the effective blind signature technique based on the suggested digital signature.

TL;DR: The project presents robust palm vein recognition using hybrid texture descriptors such as discriminative robust local ternary pattern and Weber’s local descriptor for improving the recognition accuracy.
Abstract: The project presents robust palm vein recognition using hybrid texture descriptors such as discriminative robust local ternary pattern and Weber’s local descriptor for improving the recognition accuracy. A Biometric system is essentially a pattern recognition system that makes use of biometric traits to recognize individuals. There was a negative effect on recognition performance on fingerprint and palm print biometrics due to the some conditions such as oil on the fingers, moisture, and dirt. Therefore, vein patterns stand out from the host of intrinsic biometric traits for development of a recognition system that can meet all these expectations.
