TL;DR: In this paper, a standard addition titration technique was used for fluoridation of silicate minerals, after decomposition with sodium carbonate and zinc oxide, and the main advantages of the method are its precision and the elimination of errors arising from separate preliminary calibration.

TL;DR: In this article, the electrical conductivity of olivine with tempera-ture and pressures up to those of the Moon's centre was analyzed and different models of the temperature distribution yield widely varying conductivity distributions.
Abstract: Analysis of the geomagnetic variations shows that in the Earth’s mantle at a depth of 700 km there is a rapid rise of electrical conductivity. Other considerations show that this rise flattens off in the lower mantle. The phenomenon is well explained by the semi-conduction of the silicate minerals. Experimental results on the electrical conductivity of olivine with temperature and pressures up to those of the Moon’s centre will be described. Different models of the temperature distribution yield widely varying conductivity distributions.

TL;DR: The 3.2 Ga Kaap Valley tonalite (KVT) is a homogeneous hornblende+biotite tonalites which is surrounded by the Barberton greenstone belt as discussed by the authors, with the highest proportion of hydrous phases and carbonate occurring along major shear zones within the KVT and the sheared contact with the greenstone material.
