TL;DR: In this paper, a parallel top sine wave design has proved to be an optimum plan, which adds three time components of induced phase voltage, which enables the amplitude of induced line voltage to increase about 14.9%.
Abstract: In order to improve the efficiency of the permanent-magnet synchronous motor, which is closely related to its magnet shape, we have designed magnets in various shapes. A parallel top sine wave design has proved to be an optimum plan. This design adds three time components of induced phase voltage, which enables the amplitude of induced line voltage to increase about 14.9%. The design's simplified approximate arc configuration has important engineering applications.

TL;DR: In this paper, a motor drive apparatus, an electric actuator and an electric power steering apparatus capable of continuous torque control up to the high drive speed and high torque area, in order to enable quick acceleration and deceleration, is described.
Abstract: The disclosure concerns a a motor drive apparatus, an electric actuator and an electric power steering apparatus capable of continuous torque control up to the high drive speed and high torque area, in order to enable quick acceleration and deceleration. A controller comprises a voltage saturation detecting apparatus for detecting the voltage saturation of the output voltage of an inverter circuit, based on the battery voltage, and a waveform controller that converts the drive waveform of the inverter circuit into the waveform created by superimposing harmonics of high odd-numbered order on a sinusoidal wave as a fundamental wave of the modulated wave modulated by a PWN carrier wave; and continuously changes the ratio of superimposing the high-order harmonics in response to the voltage saturation detected by a voltage saturation detecting means. This arrangement allows the controller to continuously change the drive waveform of the inverter circuit.

TL;DR: A pulse width modulation (PWM) controller suitable for use with a variety of open loop topology power supply circuits including ring generator circuits is presented in this paper. The PWM controller is adapted to provide the required signals to control the various possible open loop converter topologies.
Abstract: A pulse width modulation (PWM) controller suitable for use with a variety of open loop topology power supply circuits including ring generator circuits. The controller and the circuit realized therefrom utilizes an open loop topology to achieve the desired output voltage waveform. The PWM controller is suitable for realizing a plurality of different open loop converter topologies such as such as buck, boost, forward and push-pull topologies. The PWM controller is adapted to provide the required signals to control the various possible open loop converter topologies. The controller functions to generate a PWM signal that is used to generate a half wave sine wave signal. The controller includes the necessary functionality to control the duty cycle of the generated PWM signal so as to produce a full wave sine wave at the output of the output bridge circuit.

TL;DR: In this article, the asymptotic behavior of transient signal propagation in lossless, isotropic plasmas is discussed for a typical input signal of a step modulated sine wave and a generalized saddlepoint integration is carried out which gives a continuous solution for the dispersed signal everywhere except at the signal wavefront.
Abstract: The asymptotic behavior of transient signal propagation in lossless, isotropic plasmas is discussed for a typical input signal of a step modulated sine wave. A generalized saddlepoint integration is carried out which gives a continuous solution for the dispersed signal everywhere except at the signal wavefront. The solution which is valid at the signal wavefront is obtained by using a high-frequency expansion technique. Universal curves are presented for the behavior of the distorted signal as a function of the plasma frequency, signal frequency, and propagation distance. The solution is a good approximation for the case of plasma propagation lengths which are long compared to a free space wavelength and for the operating frequency near the plasma frequency. This solution is useful since the available exact solutions for this case converge too slowly to be practically computed.
