TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of chalk powder on the tensile and flexural properties of sisal/glass fiber hybrid composites was studied and it was observed that as the chalk powder quantity increases, the flexural and tensile properties are decreased.
Abstract: The hybrid composites of unsaturated polyester based sisal/glass fibre hybrid composites were prepared. Glass/sisal fibers were combined in the same matrix (unsaturated polyester) to make hybrid composites and the tensile and flexural properties are studied. A significant improvement in tensile and flexural properties of sisal/glass fibre hybrid composites was found. The chalk powder (additive) is also added to the resin (unsaturated polyester) in proportions of 1%,2%,3% by weight of resin respectively and sisal/glass fibre hybrid composites were prepared by using this resin to study the effect of chalk powder on tensile and flexural properties of these hybrid composites. It is also observed that as the chalk powder quantity increases tensile and flexural properties are decreases.

TL;DR: In this paper, a pneumatic sisal hemp loom with a shuttle is described, which includes a yarn feeding transmission mechanism, a weaving transmission mechanism and a cloth collecting transmission mechanism.
Abstract: The utility model provides a pneumatic sisal hemp loom with a shuttle, which comprises a yarn feeding transmission mechanism, a weaving transmission mechanism and a cloth collecting transmission mechanism. An output connector of a PLC programmable controller of the loom is connected with a plurality of electromagnetic valves and corresponding cylinders connected with the electromagnetic valves, corresponding sisal hemp weaving tools are connected with the cylinders, and a pneumatic mode replaces a traditional mechanical transmission mode. A PLC arranged in the loom controls the cylinders to act in a coordinative manner according to technical requirements of sisal hemp weaving with a shuttle, and replaces the traditional mechanical transmission mode of a sisal hemp loom with a shuttle used for decades. The pneumatic sisal hemp loom with a shuttle has the advantages of advanced system, simple structure, smaller occupied space, reliable work, low fault rate, convenient maintenance, lower manufacturing cost, low machine noise and the like, and favors an enterprise researching and developing various sisal hemp fabrics to supply for market.
