TL;DR: In this article, an inflatable cushion placed under the part to be lifted is used for jacking up vehicles, coupled by hose to the vehicle exhaust and blown up by the exhaust gases to the necessary height, after which a valve in the cushion is shut and the hose disconnected.
Abstract: The process is particularly for jacking up vehicles, and uses an inflatable cushion placed under the part to be lifted. This is coupled by hose to the vehicle exhaust and blown up by the exhaust gases to the necessary height, after which a valve in the cushion is shut and the hose disconnected. A supporting stand can be placed under the vehicle after lifting and the gases released from the cushion. A baseplate with towbar and rollers, also a slewing pivot can be provided, a slewing ring supporting the cushion fitting on the pivot, to allow easy manoeuvring of the vehicle, e.g. in a repair shop.

TL;DR: In this paper, a reclamation device consists of a bucket wheel mounted on the extending part of a telescopic boom, which is supported by trunnions on a tubular superstructure.
Abstract: The reclamation device consists of a bucket wheel mounted on the extending part of a telescopic boom, which is supported by trunnions on a tubular superstructure. The boom has conventional hydraulic rams for elevating, and a counterbalance. The superstructure is mounted on a slewing bearing on a conical tower and can rotate by means of a pinion and wheel. The tower has four legs on a platform which in turn is supported on four bogie assemblies running on rails. The bucket wheel discharges material onto a conveyor running along the boom, which is then taken through the superstructure to a second conveyor. The second conveyor is arranged so that it does not obstruct the counterbalance during slewing.
