TL;DR: In this paper, a reclamation device consists of a bucket wheel mounted on the extending part of a telescopic boom, which is supported by trunnions on a tubular superstructure.
Abstract: The reclamation device consists of a bucket wheel mounted on the extending part of a telescopic boom, which is supported by trunnions on a tubular superstructure. The boom has conventional hydraulic rams for elevating, and a counterbalance. The superstructure is mounted on a slewing bearing on a conical tower and can rotate by means of a pinion and wheel. The tower has four legs on a platform which in turn is supported on four bogie assemblies running on rails. The bucket wheel discharges material onto a conveyor running along the boom, which is then taken through the superstructure to a second conveyor. The second conveyor is arranged so that it does not obstruct the counterbalance during slewing.

TL;DR: In this article, a manufacturing method of a slewing bearing, which belongs to the field of production of slewing bearings, and solves the problems of short service life, weaker quality stability and low machining production efficiency of the traditional Slewing bearings is revealed.
Abstract: The invention discloses a manufacturing method of a slewing bearing, belongs to the field of production of slewing bearings, and solves the problems of short service life, weaker quality stability and low machining production efficiency of the traditional slewing bearings The manufacturing method of the slewing bearing comprises a rough machining step, a lineation step, a hole boring step, a semi-finish turning step, a tempering step, a finish machining step, a roller way finish machining step and an assembly step, wherein the tempering step of the inner surface of a roller way is to use a nozzle for aligning to the inner surface of the roller way to spray quenching liquid and immediately stop spraying when rotating by 360-n degrees, and the roller way finish machining step is to grind the inner surface of the roller way by adopting turning to replace grinding The manufacturing method of the slewing bearing can effectively improve the production efficiency, and manufactures the slewing bearings with stable quality, high precision and long service life

TL;DR: In this paper, the change in contact angle due to applied load is vital in order to study the load carrying capacity of large diameter bearings, which are very safety critical products and its usage ranges from tower cranes, wind mills to nuclear reactors.
Abstract: Slewing ring bearings are very safety critical products and its usage ranges from tower cranes, wind mills to nuclear reactors. They have to meet the requirements exactly and perform in the environmental conditions of the application. There is no standard design procedure is available because of the number of design variables involved in this design and the dependency of the critical applications. Analysis of large diameter bearings is complex process. The evaluation of change in contact angle due to applied load is vital in order to study the load carrying capacity of large diameter bearings. Analytical and Numerical procedures have been developed to calculate various design factors such as contact angle, contact stress and deformation. The Change in Contact angle of balls determined by using FEA. The change in Contact Angle was compared with analytical, FEA and the Newton-Raphson method. The results show a good agreement with the values calculated using Hertz’s relations for deformation. The FEA method was used to get the nodal solution of Contact angle, Contact Stress and Deflection for various loading conditions. The FEA results were compared with the analytical Hertz method.

TL;DR: In this article, the steering mechanism of a fully-revolving propeller is described, consisting of a power unit, a planet reduction gearbox and a slewing bearing.
Abstract: The invention discloses a steering mechanism of a fully-revolving propeller and belongs to the technical field of propellers. The steering mechanism comprises a power unit, a planet reduction gearbox and a slewing bearing, wherein the output end of the power unit is in transmission connection with the input end of the planet reduction gearbox, the output end of the planet reduction gearbox is in transmission connection with the slewing bearing, a torsion limiter and an inductive switch are arranged between the output end of the power unit and the input end of the planet reduction gearbox, the torsion limiter is in transmission connection with the output end of the power unit and the input end of the planet reduction gearbox, and the inductive switch is electrically connected with the power unit. When the torsion limiter is overloaded and slips, transmission connection between the power unit and the planet reduction gearbox is broken, the inductive switch outputs an electric signal to the power unit, and the power unit is controlled to slow down.

TL;DR: In this paper, the steering process is transmitted solely via the trailer tie bar movement via the tie bar bogie and via the coupled transmission element to the axle bogie with controlled movement without additional control parts, connecting points or coupling points outside the trailer front axle.
Abstract: The trailer tie bar movement triggered by the power unit when a lorry experiences normal travel around a bend is not transmitted directly and with the same angle to a live ring-mounted trailer front axle for the trailer steering assembly but rather in such a way that via coupled transmission elements which are mounted together on the tie bar bogie different circumferential speeds are transmitted to an upper and a lower ball bearing slewing ring in such a way that controlled movement with two different angular movements of the two ball bearing slewing rings with respect to one another is produced, the steering process being transmitted solely via the trailer tie bar movement via the tie bar bogie and via the coupled transmission element to the axle bogie with controlled movement without additional control parts, connecting points or coupling points outside the trailer front axle bogie being necessary.
