TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a sustained release chlorine dioxide-containing liquid agent, which contains dissolved chlorine dioxide gas, chloric acid and/or a chlorate, and a pH-adjusting agent.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject stable liquid agent having excellent antimicrobial and deodorizing forces originating from the oxidative force of chlorine dioxide itself and sustaining the effects by adding dissolved chlorine dioxide gas, chloric acid, etc. SOLUTION: This sustained release chlorine dioxide-containing liquid agent contains (A) dissolved chlorine dioxide gas, (B) chloric acid and/or a chlorate, preferably an alkali (alkaline earth) metal salt (for example, sodium chlorate), (C) a chlorite, preferably an alkali (alkaline earth) metal salt (for example, sodium chlorite), and (D) a pH-adjusting agent, preferably an inorganic acid or an organic acid (for example, citric acid). The components A, B and C are preferably contained in amounts of 1.0-2,900 ppm, 5-10,000 ppm and 100-40,000 ppm, respectively. A chlorine dioxide-containing gel-like composition containing the liquid agent and a gelling agent is useful for retaining the freshness of fresh foods such as fruits and vegetables.

TL;DR: In this paper, a nanocrystalline alloy of the formula Fe3-X Al1+X My Tz was proposed for making electrodes intended in particular for the synthesis of sodium chlorate.
Abstract: The invention relates to a nanocrystalline alloy of the formula Fe3-X Al1+X My Tz in which: M is at least one catalytic species selected from the group comprising Ru, Ir, Pd, Pt, Rh, Os, Re, Ag and Ni; T is at least one member selected from the group comprising Mo, Co, Cr, V, Cu, Zn, Nb, W, Zr, Y, Mn, Cb, Si, B, C, O, N, P, F, S, Cl and Na; x is a number higher than -1 and no higher than +1; y is a number higher than 0 and no higher than +1; z is a number between 0 and +1. The invention also relates to the use of the above alloy in a nanocrystalline form or not for making electrodes intended in particular for the synthesis of sodium chlorate.

TL;DR: In this article, the conductances, densities, and viscosities of aqueous solutions of sodium chlorate were determined over the complete range of concentration at 25 °C and at 35 °C.
Abstract: The conductances, densities, and viscosities of aqueous solutions of sodium chlorate were determined over the complete range of concentration at 25 °C and at 35 °C. An attempt was made to reproduce the results at 25 °C with the viscosity-corrected Falkenhagen–Leist and Wishaw–Stokes equations. The limiting equivalent conductances of sodium chlorate at 25 °C and 35 °C in water were also determined. The conductances, densities, and viscosities of sodium chlorate at 25 °C and 35 °C were determined in a solvent consisting of 64.5% dioxane, 35.5% water. The limiting equivalent conductances of sodium chlorate at 25 °C and 35 °C and of lithium chlorate at 25 °C in this solvent were determined by analyzing the data with the Fuoss–Onsager equation for associated electrolytes. Finally, conductances of sodium chlorate and lithium chlorate at 25 °C were determined in a solvent consisting of 90% dioxane, 10% water.

TL;DR: In this paper, it has been found that mixtures between sodium chlorate and HCl (NaClO3 + HCl ⇆ HClO 3 + NaCl + NaO3) in 20 mL are effective media for the dissolution of pure gold-wire (99.95 %, ca. 50fold increase) for 1.0 mol dm-3 HCl and HBr, respectively, where the pseudo-first-order dissolution rate constants (k/s-1) have been evaluated by the changes in the mass of goldwire.
