Abstract: Sodium sulfate crystals, also known as salt cake, are obtained as a side stream in the manufacture of chlorine dioxide by the reduction of sodium chlorate with chloride ions in an aqueous, acidic medium containing sulfate ions. The sodium sulfate crystals are contained in a mother liquor saturated with sodium sulfate and contaminated with chloride ions. The process provided by the present invention purifies the salt cake crystals by separating the crystals from the mother liquor without evaporation of the mother liquor until a critical dryness level is achieved and then the remaining mother liquor is evaporated to result in purified salt cake crystals having substantially reduced chloride ion content.

Abstract: The invention discloses a method for producing high-purity chlorine dioxide.According to the method, methyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, hydrochloric acid and sodium chloride are mixed according to a certain proportion to be prepared into a mixed reduction agent, and after a sodium chlorate solution is filtered, the sodium chlorate solution and concentrated sulfuric acid are injected into a generator to form a reaction mother solution; after the acidity, the temperature and the sodium chlorate concentration of the mother liquor in a reactor are kept stable for a certain period of time, the prepared mixed reduction agent is added into the reactor; chlorine dioxide gas and a small amount of chlorine are generated due to reaction, and the chlorine dioxide gas is absorbed by low-temperature freezing water after being cooled to obtain a chlorine dioxide aqueous solution.The proportion of methyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, hydrochloric acid and sodium chloride in the mixed reduction agent used in the method is very important, and the mixed reduction agent obtained after optimization is used for preparing chlorine dioxide so that the conversion rate of chlorine dioxide can be increased by 10-15% compared with a method using a single reduction agent.The method is high in chemical reaction stability, production cost is reduced, and the amount of chlorine gas in the whole process is very small.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a kind of indoor air smell-cleaning agent, including two portions of component A and component B. The compount A is a solid active agent formed from one or several kinds of oxalic acid, tartaric acid, amino acid, citric acid, aminosulfonic acid, isonicotinic acid and camphoric acid, and the component B is a stable solution formed from one or several kinds of potassium chlorate, sodium chlorate, magnesium chlorate, sodium hypochlorite, calcium hypochlorite, sodium chlorite, sodium perchlorate, potassium perchlorate, sodium dichloroisocyanurate and sodium trichloroisocyanurate. The component A can be added in the component B. The substances of nascent state oxygen, nascent state chlorine or chlorinedioxide can be released so as to eliminate harmful smell pollution due to building, decoration and furniture in the room.

According to the reaction principle, the method includes the steps of firstly, conducting sodium chlorate electrolysis according to the chemical equation NaCl+3H2O->NaClO3+3H2; secondly, conducting hydrochloric acid synthesis according to the chemical equation H2+Cl2->2HCl; thirdly, generating chlorine dioxide according to the chemical equation NaClO3+2HCl->NaCl+ClO2+1/2Cl2+H2O; fourthly, preparing sodium chlorite according to the chemical equation 2ClO2+2NaOH+H2O2->2NaClO2+2H2O+O2. A preparation device mainly comprises an electrolytic cell, a sodium chlorate reactor, a hydrochloric acid synthesis furnace, a reboiler, a chlorine dioxide generator, a chlorine dioxide absorption stripping tower, a chlorine dioxide stripper and a sodium chlorite preparation tower. When sodium chlorite is prepared through the method and the device, the product cost is low, yield is high, no side products are discharged, no waste acid or solid waste is discharged, environment pollution is reduced, and the advantages of being economical and environmentally friendly are achieved.
