TL;DR: In this paper, a combined treatment method for discarded sodium dichromate and an emulsion is described, where the oxidizing property of the dichromates and the reductibility of an organic matter in the emulsion of a materializing workshop are used to cause a redox reaction of a mixed solution.
Abstract: The invention discloses a combined treatment method for discarded sodium dichromate and an emulsion The oxidizing property of sodium dichromate and reductibility of an organic matter in the emulsionof a materializing workshop are used, and the emulsion and the sodium dichromate are mixed to cause a redox reaction of a mixed solution, the high-valent chromium ion in sodium dichromate is reduced to a low-toxicity low-valent chromium ion, and the organic matter in the emulsion is removed; the mixed liquid after the reaction is dehydrated by direct pressure filtration, and a separated solid matter is solidified, and the filtered water is introduced to a sewage station after reaching the standard for uniform treatment In this way, by treating waste, the hexavalent chromium in sodium dichromate is reduced to trivalent chromium which is less toxic, and the organic matter in the emulsion is removed, and by sedimentation and pressure filtration, the treated wastewater reaches the standard and is introduced into a sewage treatment system, after the final disposal is qualified, the product is reused, and the filtered sludge enters a solidification workshop for landfill treatment

TL;DR: In this article, a new technology of comprehensive utilization of sodium hydrosulphate waste liquid in production of chromate resides in that the said waste liquid is directly added to the alkaline solution of sodium chromate, the temp. and pH value of the solution are controlled, an effective amount of chemical treating agent is added to remove three-valency chromium ion and meta-aluminate radical ion through precipitation, and to convert the chromate into sodium dichromate.
Abstract: This new technology of comprehensive utilization of sodium hydrosulphate waste liquid in production of chromate resides in that the said waste liquid is directly added to the alkaline solution of sodium chromate, the temp. and pH value of the solution are controlled, an effective amount of chemical treating agent is added to remove three-valency chromium ion and meta-aluminate radical ion through precipitation, and to convert sodium chromate into sodium dichromate so that the aim of utilizing sodium hydrosulphate waste liquid to acidify the alkline solution of sodium chromate is attained. This invention is mature in technology, economizes raw material, is low in investment, quick to start, and can fully utilize complete waste of sodium hydrosulphate generated in production of chromate so that good environmental effect and great economic effect are attained.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for producing sodium dichromate through cationic membrane electrolysis is described, in which a 20-40% industrial sodium chromate solution and a 23-50% industrial SDS solution are mixed to obtain a mixed feed liquid with a volume ratio of SDS to chromate being equal to (1.5:1)-(5: 1).
Abstract: The invention discloses a method for producing sodium dichromate through cationic membrane electrolysis. The method comprises the following steps: mixing a 20-40% industrial sodium chromate solution and a 23-50% sodium dichromate solution to obtain a mixed feed liquid with a volume ratio of sodium dichromate to chromate being equal to (1.5:1)-(5:1); introducing the mixed feed liquid into an anode chamber and introducing a sodium hydroxide solution with mass concentration of 27-30% into a cathode chamber; switching on direct currents, wherein the current density is controlled to be 2-4kA/m , the electrolysis temperature is 70-90 DEG C, the pressure difference between the cathode chamber and the anode chamber is 200-500mmH2O, the anode feed temperature is 50-85 DEG C, and the cathode feed temperature is 55-90 DEG C; and after electrolysis, obtaining sodium dichromate and oxygen gas in the anode chamber, and obtaining sodium hydroxide and hydrogen gas in the cathode chamber.
