Abstract: A process for the preparation of 4"-deoxyerythromycins, having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R is H or OH, R 1 is H or loweralkyl, and R 2 is H or CH 3 by treatment of the starting material, 2'-O-acetyl-4"-imidazolylthiocarbamoyl-erythromycin, with a hypophosphite reagent, in a water-miscible protic solvent optionally comprising a phase transfer agent. In a preferred embodiment, the water-miscible solvent is an alcohol and the starting material is reacted with sodium hypophosphite, ACVA and tetra-n-butylammonium hydroxide.

Abstract: The invention provides a preparation method of silica particle reinforced nickel-base composite coating for conducting rolls. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, performing SiO2 surface pretreatment, secondly, adding nickel sulfate, lactic acid, sodium citrate, boric acid, succinic acid, sodium hypophosphite, surfactant and brightening agent into a coating bath, so as to obtain composite plating solution, thirdly, performing pretreatment of plated conducting roll base body, fourthly, uniformly mixing Ni/SiO2, performing ultrasonic dispersion and wetting to Ni/SiO2, adding Ni/SiO2 into the composite plating solution, and then adding Ni/SiO2 into the plated conducting roll base body pretreated in step 3 after stirring and heating, and fifthly, taking out conducting rolls, and then obtaining final products after treatment. The method has the advantages that the texture is compact and uniform, has no pore or microcrack, has high hardness, high temperature resistance performance and wear-resisting property, overcomes crystal defects, such as crystal boundary, dislocation and fault, in conducting roll working layer prepared by the traditional technology, meets the requirements of corrosion resistance and mechanical property required by conducting rolls for zinc plating, and has a good application prospect.

Abstract: The invention discloses a rare earth neodymium containing trivalent chromium blue and white passivation liquid and a preparation method thereof. Every liter of rare earth neodymium containing trivalent chromium blue and white passivation liquid comprises 15-20g of chromium sulfate, 2.0-3.0g of sodium nitrate, 6.0-8.0g of cobaltous sulfate heptahydrate, 2.5-4.0g of sodium hypophosphite, 0.5-0.8g of citric acid, 0.15-0.25g of ammonium bifluoride, 0.14-0.42g of neodymium nitrate and the balance of deionized water. The preparation method comprises steps of under a continuously stirring state, firstly dissolving chromium sulfate into part of deionized water, then sequentially adding citric acid, sodium hypophosphite and sodium nitrate and dissolving, adding cobaltous sulfate heptahydrate and fully dissolving, finally adding ammonium bifluoride and neodymium nitrate, adding the balance of deionized water, standing for 24 hours so as to obtain the rare earth neodymium containing the trivalent chromium blue and white passivation liquid. After a zinc plating piece is passivated by the passivation liquid, a bright, uniform and compact blue and white passivation membrane with good corrosion resistance can be formed.
