TL;DR: In this paper, a method of making phosphorous acid or hypophosphorous acid by reacting hydrogen chloride with a sodium phosphite or a sodium hypophophosphite, respectively, in the presence of water to precipitate sodium chloride crystals and form the acid is described.
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of making phosphorous acid or hypophosphorous acid by reacting hydrogen chloride with a sodium phosphite or a sodium hypophosphite, respectively, in the presence of water to precipitate sodium chloride crystals and form the acid. The acid is separated from the sodium chloride crystals and can be passed through an anion exchange column that is preferably loaded with phosphite or hypophosphite ions, respectively, to remove residual chloride ions.

TL;DR: In this article, a modified cardanol ceramic dispersant and a preparation method for its use in a reaction kettle is described. But the method is not suitable for the handling of large amounts of water.
Abstract: The invention provides a modified cardanol ceramic dispersant and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps that 1, cardanol, unsaturated organic amine and water are added into a reaction kettle, stirring is started, heating starts to be conducted to increase the temperature, when the temperature is increased to 85 DEG C to 100 DEG C, formaldehyde is added, and after formaldehyde is completely added, reacting is conducted for 1-3 hours; 2, sodium hypophosphite and unsaturated carboxylic acid and salt thereof are sequentially added and stirred to be uniform, and when the temperature is increased to 80 DEG C to 120 DEG C, an initiator solution with the mass percentage concentration of 1% to 10% is dropwise added, wherein the initiator solution is prepared from an initiator and part of water, the dropwise adding time is controlled to be within the range of 1 hour to 3 hours, and the temperature is controlled at 85 DEG C to 120 DEG C when dropwise adding is conducted, after dropwise adding is completed, the temperature is decreased, discharging is conducted, and then the modified cardanol ceramic dispersant is obtained.

TL;DR: In this paper, a bath composition of nickel chloride, sodium hypophosphite 10g/l, sodium acetate, and a diamond grit liquid 10-50cc/l is agitated thoroughly to chemically plate a stainless matrix normally pretreated with a pH4-6 at 70-95 deg.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To form a thin and even grind stone by an eutectoid of a metal matrix and fine grits through a chemical plating after they are evenly dispersed in a plating bath. CONSTITUTION:A bath composition of nickel chloride 30g/l, sodium hypophosphite 10g/l, sodium acetate 10g/l and a diamond grit liquid 10-50cc/l is agitated thoroughly to chemically plate a stainless matrix normally pretreated with a pH4-6 at 70-95 deg.C. A better chemical nickel plating is obtained with limited variance at a thickness of 10-50mu. Thus, a direct chemical plating is possible without any ground plating even when material such as stainless steel is used.

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of thermal and citric acid modification of beech and fir sapwood on wetting, surface free energy and colour changes were investigated using contact angle obtained by the sessile drop method.
Abstract: Beech and fir sapwood were modified by citric acid (CA) using sodium hypophosphite (SHP) as catalyst at 180 °C. Influence of thermal and citric acid modification of beech and fir sapwood on wetting, surface free energy and colour changes were investigated. Wetting properties and surface free energy were determined using contact angle obtained by the sessile drop method. Wetting of water on beech wood increased after modification by CA, but on fir wood wetting of water decreased after modification
