TL;DR: In this paper, a novel Ni-P gradient coating/stannate conversion film was deposited on AZ91D magnesium alloy (AZ91D alloy) by an integrative method involved stannate converting and electroless plating, and the results indicated that using sodium hypophosphite concentrations varied as 5, 10, 22, 46, and 60 g/L in the bath.
Abstract: A kind of novel Ni–P gradient coating/stannate conversion film was deposited on AZ91D magnesium alloy (AZ91D alloy) by an integrative method involved stannate conversion and electroless plating. The results indicated that using sodium hypophosphite concentrations varied as 5, 10, 22, 46, and 60 g/L in the bath, the electroless Ni–P gradient coating with typical cell morphologies was successfully prepared, and the structures transited from crystalline → microcrystalline → amorphous were obtained as increasing P content from 3.31 to 12.58 wt%. Furthermore, the corrosion morphologies, polarization curves, and the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy result indicated that the corrosion resistance of AZ91D alloy substrate was significantly improved and the corrosion resistance of Ni–P gradient coating was superior than that of stannate conversion film, which might be attributed to the gradient structure and rising P content with unique function.

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structure and magnetic properties of Co-W and Co-P coatings produced by electrodeposition at various temperatures (Co-W coatings) or sodium hypophosphite concentrations in an electrolyte were studied.
Abstract: The crystal structure and magnetic properties of Co-W (4–6 at % W) and Co-P (2–5 at % P) coatings produced by electrodeposition at various temperatures (Co-W coatings) or sodium hypophosphite concentrations in an electrolyte (Co-P coatings) are studied. The coatings consist of crystallites having an hcp structure with a [001] and/or a [100] texture depending on the deposition conditions. The structural characteristics, the magnetic nonuniformity, and the magnetic intercrystalline interaction are found to correlate with each other.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for measuring a sulfate radical in sodium hypophosphite is presented. But the method is characterized by comprising the following steps: placing a sodium hypphosphite sample in a color comparison tube; dissolving the sample with water; adding a stabilizing agent; sequentially adding a hydrochloric acid solution and a BaCl2 solution; diluting with distilled water to reach the set scale, shaking uniformly, and keeping standing; measuring the absorbance at 460nm by a 3cm cuvette instantly.
Abstract: The invention provides a method for measuring a sulfate radical in sodium hypophosphite. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: placing a sodium hypophosphite sample in a color comparison tube; dissolving the sample with water; adding a stabilizing agent; sequentially adding a hydrochloric acid solution and a BaCl2 solution; diluting with distilled water to reach the set scale, shaking uniformly, and keeping standing; measuring the absorbance at 460nm by a 3cm cuvette instantly; and calculating the content of the sulfate radical in the sample according to the relation between the sulfuric acid concentration and the absorbance. In the method for measuring the sulfate radical in the sodium hypophosphite, glycerol which has excellent stabilization is utilized as the stabilizing agent. By the method, the ppm level sulfate radical contained in the sodium hypophosphite can be stably and accurately measured quantitatively.

TL;DR: In this article, the meniscogram method was used to study the solderability of electroless Ni-P alloy deposits, and it was found that solderability decreased with increase of phosphorus and concentration of hypophosphite, and with decrease in pH and temperature.
Abstract: Factors influencing solderability of electroless Ni-P alloy deposits were studied by the meniscogram method. These factors are: Phosphorus content of the alloy deposit, concentration of sodium hypophosphite in the bath, pH, bath temperature, and the type of complexing agent, additive, and flux. It was found that solderability decreased with increase of phosphorus and concentration of hypophosphite, and with decrease in pH and temperature. Different kinds of complexing agents, however, did not affect solderability, though type of flux and additive exhibited great influence

TL;DR: In this article, a method for performing antibacterial and antivirus treatment on textiles by utilizing natural biomaterials is described, which is characterized by comprising the following steps of treatment liquid preparation, impregnation of preprocessed cotton in the treatment liquid, press-rolling, preliminary drying, baking, washing with water, drying, and inspection of finished products.
Abstract: The invention discloses a method for performing antibacterial and antivirus treatment on textiles by utilizing natural biomaterials. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps of treatment liquid preparation, impregnation of preprocessed cotton in the treatment liquid, press-rolling, preliminary drying, baking, washing with water, drying, and inspection of finished products. The prepared treatment liquid is prepared from chitosan loaded to cellulose fibers, a plant extract loaded to cellulose fibers, an organic acid cross-linking agent and sodium hypophosphite in the mass ratio of the chitosan to the plant extract to the organic acid cross-linking agent to the sodium hypophosphite being (0.1-2% ) to (0.1-3% ) to (1-10% ) to (1-8% ). According to the method disclosed by the invention, heavy metal antibacterial agents such as nano-silver and chemical synthesis antibacterial agents, generating potential damage to human bodies, are not used, and the natural biological extract is used as an antibacterial antivirus material, has favorable compatibility to the human bodies, is safe and comfortable to use, and is free from toxic or side effects.
