TL;DR: In this paper, a zero-emission treatment process of O-phenylenediamine sodium sulfide reduction wastewater was proposed, which adopts the following steps in sequence: wastewater is filtered, O-PNs in the wastewater are absorbed and extracted by resin; the remained wastewater is vaporized and extracted to remove sodium chlorine; the wastewater that sodium chlorine is removed is filtered and crystallized to extract the sodium thiosulfate; the remaining wastewater is concentrated to obtain sodium sulfite mixture.
Abstract: The invention relates to a zero-emission treatment process of O-phenylenediamine sodium sulfide reduction wastewater, which adopts the following steps in sequence: wastewater is filtered; O-phenylenediamine in the wastewater is absorbed and extracted by resin; the remained wastewater is vaporized and extracted to remove sodium chlorine; the wastewater that sodium chlorine is removed is filtered and crystallized to extract the sodium thiosulfate; the remained wastewater is concentrated to obtain sodium sulfite mixture. The invention can treat O-phenylenediamine sodium sulfide reduction wastewater with zero emission, so as to solve environmental pollution of wastewater thoroughly, thereby having obvious environmental benefit; simultaneously the wastewater is treated by the means of resource utilization, organic chemical product- O-phenylenediamine and inorganic product- sodium thiosulfate and sodium thiosulfate mixture are extracted from the wastewater; full process is a cleaning treatment process, not only secondary pollution is not generated but also energy is utilized circularly during process; the invention has small investment, simple process and practicality, and is applicable for popularization and utilization in the industry.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared the performance of different sulfurating agents in terms of their ability to form Ni precipitates and found that the average specific filtration resistance of the slurry produced by adding a sulfurating agent was smaller than that of nickel hydroxide slurry; in particular, the lowest specific resistance was found to be produced by addition of sodium tetrasulfide at a controlled pH 7±1.
Abstract: In order to recover nickel from waste plating solution, the precipitation of nickel by sulfuration was applied in the present study. Sodium sulfide (Na 2 S), sodium disulfide (Na 2 S 2 ) and sodium tetrasulfide (Na 2 S 4 ) were employed as sulfurating agents and were compared in terms of their ability to form Ni precipitates. From the results, it was found that the initial nickel concentration of 100 mg/dm 3 was reduced to 0.594-3.37 mg-Ni/dm 3 in the filtrate by addition of sulfurating agents. The average specific filtration resistance of the slurry produced by addition of a sulfurating agent was smaller than that of nickel hydroxide slurry; in particular, the lowest specific resistance of the slurry was found to be produced by addition of sodium tetrasulfide at a controlled pH 7±1. The low filtration characteristic of nickel sulfide precipitates obtained by addition of sodium tetrasulfide was attributed to their particle size.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for synthesizing pyrite type ferrous disulfide by a hydro-thermal method is described. But the method is simple in process and low in cost and has high application values.
Abstract: The invention discloses a synthesizing pyrite type ferrous disulfide by a hydro-thermal method. The method comprises the following steps: taking ferrous chloride, sodium sulfide and elemental sulfur as raw materials; adjusting the pH value of a reaction solution to 5-12; carrying out hydro-thermal reaction at the temperature of 110-200DEG C for 12-24 hours to obtain the synthesizing pyrite type ferrous disulfide. According to the method, phase and morphology of a product are controlled by adjusting the pH value to obtain pyrite type ferrous disulfide cube-shaped granules with small granularity and favorable dispersion; the problem that the product contains associated phase marcasite when pyrite is synthesized by the hydro-thermal method is solved; and in addition, the method is simple in process and low in cost and has high application values.
