TL;DR: In this paper, a separating membrane preservation liquid in the wet state is used for preserving a separation membrane for separating permeated water by filling a raw water used in the fields of food industry, medical care, purification of water and the like when being not used in prepared from a solution containing sodium sulfite.
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the high sterilization effect for a long period of time and prevent the deterioration of a separating membrane and the permeation performance thereof by preparing a separating membrane preservation liquid from a solution containing sodium bisulfite. SOLUTION: A separating membrane preservation liquid in the wet state used for preserving a separating membrane for separating permeated water by filling a raw water used in the fields of food industry, medical care, purification of water and the like when being not used in prepared from a solution containing sodium sulfite. The sodium sulfite is provided with the high sterilization effect for aerobic bacteria, free from toxicity, keeping its sterilization effect for a long time and not oxidizing a polymer nor deteriorating the separating membrane, by which the permeation performance is not lowered. The concentration of the sodium bisulfite to be used is preferably in the range of 0.01-5%, more preferably 0.02-0.05%. Although no particular restrictions are applied for a solvent, water is best for the purpose in consideration of operation properties, and among other things, sterilized water is preferred most.

TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of pH and catalyst and substrate concentrations on the rate of photocatalytic hydrogen evolution have been investigated and the quantum efficiency of the process is up to 12.9%.
Abstract: Noble metal-free, Cd1 − x Zn x S-based photocatalysts for hydrogen evolution from aqueous solutions of sodium sulfide and sodium sulfite upon irradiation with visible light (λ > 420 nm) have been synthesized and characterized by a complex of physicochemical methods. The effects of pH and catalyst and substrate concentrations on the rate of photocatalytic hydrogen evolution have been investigated. Under the optimal conditions, the quantum efficiency of the process is up to 12.9%.

TL;DR: In this article, novel amphoteric emulsifiers are disclosed for solventless and solvent containing mixing grade, oil-in-water anionic and cationic bituminous emulsions.
Abstract: Novel amphoteric emulsifiers are disclosed for solventless and solvent containing mixing grade, oil-in-water anionic and cationic bituminous emulsions, which emulsifiers are the modified reaction products of polyamines with certain polycarboxylic acids and sulfonated carboxylic acids. Modifications are carried out by reacting the nitrogen-containing intermediate with formaldehyde and sodium sulfite or bisulfite, chloroalkane sulfonic acid salts, γ-propane sultone, chloroalkane phosphonic acids, acrylic acid, fumaric acid, maleic acid and chloroethanoic acid.

TL;DR: In this article, a temperature resistant salt tolerant high efficiency gel and a preparation method and application of thereof are described, which is characterized in that the preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a comb-shaped associated copolymer PAH containing macromonomers and functional hydrophobic monomers into an aqueous solution having the concentration of 0.1 to 4g/L, the crosslinking agent concentration of 1.0g/l, the surfactant concentration of 2.5g/ l, and the sodium sulfite thermal stabilizer concentration of
Abstract: The present invention discloses a temperature resistant salt tolerant high efficiency gel and a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method is characterized in that the preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a comb-shaped associated copolymer PAH containing macromonomers and functional hydrophobic monomers into an aqueous solution having the concentration of 0.1 to 4g/L, the crosslinking agent concentration of 0.01 to 1.0g/L, the surfactant concentration of 0.01 to 8mmol/L and the sodium sulfite thermal stabilizer concentration of 0.005 to 1.0g/L; adding the aqueous solution into a mixing container with a stirring device; stirring the aqueous solution evenly at the room temperature; regulating the pH value of the solution to be equal to between 4 and 11, and obtaining a temperature resistant salt tolerant high efficiency gel polymer solution system used for tertiary oil recovery and scavenge, displacement modification, profile modification or water shutoff. The polymer solution system has micro-crosslinking to form the gel during the flowage inside the oil reservoir. The gel has good elasticity, not easy dehydration, stable gelling performance, and excellent tackification, temperature resistance, salt tolerance, shearing resistance and ageing resistance.
