TL;DR: A viable method for the software quality assessment, which integrates the capture-recapture method and the models above, is discussed, and its application to actual test data is illustrated.
Abstract: The s-shaped growth curves of detected software errors can be observed in software testing. The delayed s-shaped and inflection s-shaped software reliability growth models based on a nonhomogeneous Poisson process are discussed. The software reliability growth types of the models are investigated in terms of the error detection rate per error. In addition, a viable method for the software quality assessment, which integrates the capture-recapture method and the models above, is discussed, and its application to actual test data is illustrated.

TL;DR: An environment is described, called Professor Marvel, that provides early error checking and answers questions about the program under development that has a certain understanding of the systems being developed and how to use tools to produce software.
Abstract: An environment is described, called Professor Marvel, that provides early error checking and answers questions about the program under development. The environment has a certain understanding of the systems being developed and how to use tools to produce software. It aids individual programmers and helps coordinate programming teams. The key components of Marvel are a database that stores data represented as objects, as in object-oriented languages, and a model of the development process that imposes a structure on programming activities. Marvel's support of insight and of opportunistic processing is discussed at length, as is the handling of side effects. A sample session is described. >

TL;DR: This paper deals with the co-adaptation problems by proposing higher-order model transformations which take a difference model recording the metamodel evolution and produce a model transformation able to co-evolve the involved models.
Abstract: Software development is witnessing the increasing need of version management techniques for supporting the evolution of model-based artefacts. In this respect, metamodels can be considered one of the basic concepts of model-driven engineering and are expected to evolve during their life-cycle. As a consequence, models conforming to changed metamodels have to be updated for preserving their well-formedness. This paper deals with the co-adaptation problems by proposing higher-order model transformations which take a difference model recording the metamodel evolution and produce a model transformation able to co-evolve the involved models.

TL;DR: Basic aspects of image analysis are outlined, including software installation, data import, image processing functions, and analytical tools that can be used to extract information from microscopy data using ImageJ.
Abstract: Image analysis methods have been developed to provide quantitative assessment of microscopy data. In this unit, basic aspects of image analysis are outlined, including software installation, data import, image processing functions, and analytical tools that can be used to extract information from microscopy data using ImageJ. Step-by-step protocols for analyzing objects in a fluorescence image and extracting information from two-color tissue images collected by bright-field microscopy are included.
