TL;DR: In this article, a method for browsing a data communications network includes requesting user data from a user-controlled secure device if a network site that requires the user data is accessed by another device.
Abstract: A method for browsing a data communications network includes requesting user data from a user-controlled secure device if a network site that requires the user data is accessed. The request is performed prior to requesting the user data from another device. The method also includes sending the user data to a network server associated with the network site if the user data is received from the user-controlled secure device. According to another aspect, a method for servicing data communications network information units includes receiving user data associated with a network site, using the user data if the user data includes static user data and reconstructing the user data before using the user data if the user data includes dynamic user data.

TL;DR: Efficiency must be judged in terms of the ability to solve a variety of eigenvalue problems on computers of widely different architecture, memory size, and data transfer rates.
Abstract: Widespread use of the linear variation method in quantum mechanics leads to the need for efficient matrix eigenvalue methods for real symmetric matrices. Efficiency must be judged, however, in terms of the ability to solve a variety of eigenvalue problems on computers of widely different architecture, memory size, and data transfer rates. To further confuse the situation, cost rather than system throughput, is usually of paramount concern. Additionally, algorithms vary widely in ease of programming, simplicity, reliability, portability and availability as part of standard packages. Consequently there are a wide variety of eigenvalue algorithms in use, and a typical quantum laboratory will incorporate several of these into their program package.

TL;DR: In this paper, a wireless environment monitoring system with a capability to monitor greenhouse gases, such as CO, CO petertodd 2, SO petertodd x), NO petertodd x, O petertodd 2 with environmental parameter is developed.
Abstract: Power consumption, portability, and system cost are important parameters in designing pervasive measurement systems. With these parameters in mind, wireless environment monitoring system with a capability to monitor greenhouse gases, such as CO, CO 2 , SO x , NO x , O 2 with environmental parameter is developed. In order to achieve the target design goals, the communication module, the wireless smart transducer interface module, and wireless network capable application processor module were developed based on the IEEE 802.15.4, IEEE 1451.2, and IEEE 1451.1 standards, respectively. The low cost and energy efficient gas sensing modules were successfully developed with improved tolerance to EMF/RFI noise. We defined recalibration of the system at time intervals to ensure that the desired accuracy is maintained. This paper presents the undertaken design detailing solutions to issues raised in previous research.

TL;DR: In this paper, a virtual reconfigurable architectures for different application domains, implemented on top of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) devices, is proposed to hide the complexity of fine-grained physical devices and enable circuit portability across all devices that implement the intermediate fabric.
Abstract: Although hardware/software partitioning of embedded applications onto FPGAs is widely known to have performance and power advantages, FPGA usage has been typically limited to hardware experts, due largely to several problems: 1) difficulty of integrating hardware design tools into well-established software tool flows, 2) increasingly lengthy FPGA design iterations due to placement and routing, and 3) a lack of portability and interoperability resulting from device/platform-specific tools and bitfiles. In this paper, we directly address the last two problems by introducing intermediate fabrics, which are virtual reconfigurable architectures specialized for different application domains, implemented on top of commercial-off-the-shelf devices. Such specialization enables near-instantaneous placement and routing by hiding the complexity of fine-grained physical devices, while also enabling circuit portability across all devices that implement the intermediate fabric. When combined with existing work on runtime synthesis from software binaries, intermediate fabrics reduce the effects of all three problems by enabling transparent usage of COTS FPGAs by software designers. In this paper, we explore intermediate fabric architectures using specialization techniques to minimize area and performance overhead of the virtual fabric while maximizing routability and speedup of placement and routing. We present results showing an average placement and routing speedup of 554x, with an average area overhead of 10% and clock overhead of 18%, which corresponds to an average frequency of 195 MHz.
