TL;DR: In this paper, a model of the source as a function of frequency based on the interferometer fringe amplitudes is used to obtain brightness temperature spectra for the emission associated with the sunspots, and it is deduced that the magnetic field strength at the base of the corona above the leading spots was 1200 G, and about 1100 G above the following spots.
Abstract: A partial solar eclipse and an X-ray image are used to study the magnetic field as a function of height in the corona above an active region during the solar eclipse of July 11, 1991. The dominant features of AR 6718 are two leading spots of positive polarity followed by two spots of negative polarity about 3 arcmin to the east. Bright radio emission coincides with the positions of the sunspots, attributable to a gyroresonance radiation from ambient electrons above the spots. A simplified model of the source as a function of frequency based on the interferometer fringe amplitudes is used to obtain brightness temperature spectra for the emission associated with the sunspots. It is deduced that the magnetic field strength at the base of the corona above the leading spots was 1200 G, and about 1100 G above the following spots. The soft X-ray brightness above the sunspots was very low, about 30 times lower than that of the adjacent plage-associated emission.

TL;DR: Three freshwater fish species — Amphipnous cuchia, Anabas testudineus and Colisa fasciata were studied during the past total solar eclipse on February 16, 1980, and behavioural studies pertaining chiefly to fish movement, fish breathing and colouration were made.
Abstract: Effects of a total solar eclipse on fish have rarely been recorded. Three freshwater fish species — Amphipnous cuchia, Anabas testudineus and Colisa fasciata were studied during the past total solar eclipse on February 16, 1980. Behavioural studies pertaining chiefly to fish movement, fish breathing and colouration were made, and possible reasons for effects are discussed.

TL;DR: Observations of the zenith sky brightness around totality at 5580 A and 6300 A during the eclipse of 12 November 1966 are reported.
Abstract: This paper reports observations of the zenith sky brightness around totality at 5580 A and 6300 A during the eclipse of 12 November 1966. The observations were carried out at Santa Ines, Huancavelica, Peru, using interference filter photometers. The color change and the variation of the sky brightness at zenith were determined and are presented.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the impact of annular solar eclipse (26 December 2019) on the surface radiation and photovoltaic (PV) energy generation observed at Gadanki (13.48° N, 79.18° E), located in southern peninsular India.

Abstract: We report new findings of total electron content (TEC) perturbations in the southern hemisphere at conjugate locations to the northern eclipse on 21 August 2017. We identified a persistent conjugat...
