Journal ArticleDOI
TL;DR: Using the circuit analysis package SPICE, this paper develops the method from first principles and illustrates it with examples of steady-state and transient analysis to show how certain program features facilitate the search for and study of multiple steady states.

TL;DR: It is shown that using only thyristor data sheets and a popular, easy-to-use circuit simulation program (SPICE) readily available to the public one can perform thyristar circuit simulations as a design aid.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to destroy pathogenic bacteria attached to the skin of the whole of a spice almost without damaging the taste of spice, by bringing the spice and whole into contact with steam under constant conditions.
Abstract: PURPOSE: To destroy pathogenic bacteria attached to the skin of the whole of a spice almost without damaging the taste of spice, by bringing the spice and whole into contact with steam under constant conditions. CONSTITUTION: For example, preferably being pressurized, spice is brought into contact with steam at about 100W145°C by bringing the spice into contact with steam jetted from a nozzle, etc. without grinding the spice and maintained for 600W1sec. The spice is then dried at high temperature for a short time, for example, at 100W120°C for 0.5W3min, cooled conventionally, and, if necessary, ground. COPYRIGHT: (C)1982,JPO&Japio

TL;DR: In this article, the operation of a mixer diode can be computed using Fourier analysis, which is contained in certain CAD programs such as SPICE, and greater accuracy can be achieved by scaling down the frequency ratio and scaling up the values of the reactive components in the equivalent circuit.
Abstract: The operation of a mixer diode can be computed using Fourier analysis, which is contained in certain CAD programs such as SPICE. When the difference frequency is much smaller than the input and local oscillation frequencies, greater accuracy can be achieved by scaling down the frequency ratio and scaling up the values of the reactive components in the equivalent circuit.

TL;DR: In this article, a stamp mill is used to pulverize simple spice powders, sealed up in suitable container not to increase the moisture content during the step, and heated at 35-60 deg.C in an incubating chamber, for one day-5 weeks, preferably 1-3 weeks.
Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a refined flavor of various simple spice powders, without changing the unique flavor, by treating the spice at a specific temperature under such almost sealed conditions as not to increase the moisture content during the step. CONSTITUTION:Various simple spice powders, pulverized by a stamp mill, are sealed up in suitable container not to increase the moisture content during the step, and heated at 35-60 deg.C, preferably 37-50 deg.C, in an incubating chamber, for one day-5 weeks, preferably 1-3 weeks, to improve the flavor.
