Abstract: ALKALI PERBORATES AND PERCARBONATES ARE SPRAY DRIED BY A PROCESS WHEREIN THE SPRAY CHARGE CONTAINS ONLY THE STABLE BASE COMPONENTS AND THE ACTIVE OXYGEN CARRIER IS DIRECTLY LED INTO THE SPRAY CHARGE BEFORE THE ATOMIZATION AND THE MIXTURE IS THEN SPRAYED AND DRIED IN A SPRAY TOWER.
