TL;DR: In this paper, a spray tower in the absorption-dehumidification process was designed to study the separation of water vapor from moist air, and the performance of the absorption tower was evaluated under various operating parameters.
Abstract: A spray tower in the absorption-dehumidification process was designed to study the separation of water vapor from moist air. The performance of the absorption tower was evaluated under various operating parameters. The role of each operating parameter and the relationship between the parameters are still unknown. A second-order polynomial model with a multiple linear regression was used to estimate the model coefficients. The model coefficients of the five selected parameters, including air- and liquid-flow rates, liquid concentration and temperature, and orifice diameter of nozzles were proposed to study the influence of these factors on the response of the mass-transfer coefficient. A factorial design model of the five variables is discussed in a two-level analysis. Only 32 (or 25) experimental runs were necessary to assess these variables and the model satisfied the process very well since the coefficient of determination (R2) was very close to 1. The influence of operating parameters on mass-transfer ...

Abstract: The utility model relates to a gas purification device, in particular to a coal tar flue gas purification deice, which comprises an exhaust fan and a vent pipe linked with an air outlet of the exhaust fan together. A gas purification device and a water purification recycling plant linked together through pipes are also comprised, wherein the gas purification device is composed of a smoke tube, a spray tower, an inter-medium tube, a spray catching tower, a connecting pipe and a adsorption tower which are in sequent series connection. The water purification recycling plant is composed of an oil and water separator, a sewage collection tank, a sewage pump, a plate and frame filter press, a clean water collection tank and a clean water pump which are in sequent series connection, wherein the water inlet of the oil and gas separator is connected to the bottoms of the spray tower and the spray catching tower together through pipes, and the water outlet of the clean water pump is respectively connected to the supply valve of the spray tower and the supply valve of the spray catching tower together. In the utility model, the low cost easily obtained is utilized. Moreover in the site, the recycled water can be taken as an adhesion medium. Therefore, the utility model has the characteristic of low operation costs.

TL;DR: In this paper, a reinforced wet limestone flue gas desulfurization spray tower for thermal power plant is described, where an inverted Y-shaped vertical demister is arranged on the upper part of the absorbing liquid spray layer.
Abstract: Disclosed is a reinforced wet limestone flue gas desulfurization spray tower which is used for the flue gas desulfurization of the thermal power plant, comprising a flue gas inlet, a flue gas outlet, an oxidation groove, an absorbing liquid spray layer with a spray nozzle, demisters and flooding nozzles of the demisters. An airflow distribution plate on which a plurality of vent holes are evenly distributed is arranged on the upper part of the flue gas inlet. An inverted Y-shaped vertical demister is arranged on the upper part of the absorbing liquid spray layer. A horizontal demister is arranged on the flue gas outlet. The technical proposal of the utility model is suitable for the process of the reinforced absorption of the high flow rate flue gas, reducing the atomization height and improving the desulfurization rate. The size of the spray tower can be reduced and the cross section of the tower can be reduced by about 40%. The atomization height can be reduced by about 30% and the liquid gas ratio can be reduced by at least 25%. Correspondingly, the volume of the oxidation groove can be reduced, saving the site area; thereby, the energy consumption, the equipment investment and the operation charge are obviously reduced.

TL;DR: In this article, a rotary atomizer is used to spray a 65-75% sorbitol solution through a spray tower cocurrently with recycled fine Sorbitol crystals while supplying hot air and further drying the particles in a fluidized bed.
Abstract: Production of spray dried sorbitol powder involves spraying a 65-75% sorbitol solution through a rotary atomizer into a spray tower cocurrently with recycled fine sorbitol crystals while supplying hot air and further drying the sorbitol particles in a fluidized bed. The viscosity of the sorbitol solution is adjusted to 8-50 mPa.s and the spray dryer is operated under defined conditions. Production of spray dried sorbitol powder by spraying a 65-75% sorbitol solution through a rotary atomizer into a spray tower cocurrently with recycled fine sorbitol crystals while supplying hot air and further drying the sorbitol particles in a fluidized bed comprises adjusting the viscosity of the sorbitol solution to 8-50 mPa.s, operating the atomizer at 5000-15000 rpm, supplying the recycled crystals in an amount of 3-4 kg/kg end product, continuously measuring the air temperature on exit from the spray tower, varying the inlet temperature within a range of 105-150degreesC to give a constant exit temperature of 55-57degreesC, and supplying the hot air in an amount of 14-22 Nm3/kg end product. An Independent claim is also included for the sorbitol produced as above, with an average particle size of 0.12-0.6 mm, a bulk density of 0.53-0.61 kg/l, a flow rate of at least 20 ml/second, an angle of repose of up to 33degrees, a specific surface of at least 1.4 m2/g and a dissolution time (1 g sorbitol in 200 ml water at 30degreesC with stirring) of upto 5 seconds.

TL;DR: In this paper, the utility model relates to an electrostatic black-smoke purifier for a temple incinerator, which belongs to the technical field of black smoke purification of the incinerator.
Abstract: The utility model relates to an electrostatic black-smoke purifier for a temple incinerator, which belongs to the technical field of black-smoke purification of the incinerator. A fume outlet on the top of the incinerator is connected with a U-shaped cooling tube formed by series connection of a set of U-shaped tubes, an outlet of the U-shaped cooling tube is connected with a spray tower, and the outlet of the spray tower is connected with a honeycomb-shaped electrostatic smoke removing device with a timing cleaning device and a black-smoke water filtering device. After a large amount of fume generated by joss sticks and candles in the incinerator in the incinerating process obtains heat radiation through the cooling tube and cooling with water spraying through the spray tower, the fume can be led into the honeycomb-shaped electrostatic smoke removing device for smoke and dust filtration. Then, the fume can be discharged by a blower. The water for cleaning and spraying is used in a circulating way and periodically drained after the water is filtered by the block-smoke water filtering device.
