Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the preparation of alkyl sulfate powders with a bulk density of at least 300 g / l by spray drying an aqueous solution of alkyl sulfate with a solids content of 10 to 60 wt .-% in a spray tower, in the head part of which the liquid is applied by pressure from 10 to 10 Pa sprayed through single-substance nozzles and the resulting spray mist is dried in cocurrent with hot inert gas.

Abstract: The utility model discloses a device for simultaneously removing various pollutants by electrical catalytic oxidation united with a lime-plaster method. The device comprises an atomization cooling device, an electrostatic enhancing reactor, a Venturi device, a double-circulation integrated absorption tower for various pollutants, and a wet-type electrostatic demister; flue gas is cooled by the atomization cooling device, then enters the electrostatic enhancing reactor and subsequently is subjected to corona treatment in a corona discharge zone formed in the electrostatic enhancing reactor; the treated flue gas enters the double-circulation integrated absorption tower for various pollutants; and after spraying dedusting and spraying absorption in the absorption tower, the purified flue gas enters a corrugated plate demister and an electrostatic demister at the upper part of a spray tower in sequence, thus removing aerosol in the flue gas. The device has the advantages of: 1) realizing the simultaneous removal of various pollutants and simultaneously effectively controlling the pollution of fine particles and aerosol; 2) being capable of achieving relatively high removal efficiency of various pollutants; and 3) removing and absorbing side products, without causing secondary pollution to environment.

Abstract: A method for contacting gases and liquid droplets for mass and/or heat transfer and a spray tower are disclosed, in which liquid is injected at a number of levels in counterflow to the gas, the gas being fed through at least two inlet openings in the shell of the spray tower. In this case, in order to reduce the differences in the contact duration, the flow direction of the gas at the inlet openings points into the internal region of the spray tower, which has a diameter of greater than or equal to 12 m, in particular greater than 20 m, such that the flow directions of the at least two gas streams intersect on their extension inside the spray tower, in particular at the center of the spray tower at up to half the spray tower radius downstream of the center of the spray tower.
