TL;DR: In this paper, a garbage incinerator comprises a primary combustion chamber for primary incineration of garbage, wherein a flue gas outlet of the primary combusting chamber is communicated with a secondary combustion inlet of the secondary combustion chamber through a first flue, and a top end outlet of a spray tower is connected with a purification system through a third flue.
Abstract: The utility model provides a waste incineration system. The garbage incinerator comprises a primary combustion chamber for primary incineration of garbage, wherein a flue gas outlet of the primary combustion chamber is communicated with a flue gas inlet of the secondary combustion chamber through a first flue, a flue gas outlet of the secondary combustion chamber is connected with a spray tower used for flue gas spray treatment through a second flue, and a top end outlet of the spray tower is connected with a flue gas purification system through a third flue. The garbage incineration temperature can be effectively controlled, combustible gas generated by incineration can be effectively utilized, meanwhile, the tail gas combustion temperature and the smoke cooling speed are controlled to decompose dioxin and prevent dioxin from being synthesized again, and therefore the emission standard requirement after garbage treatment is met. The method is high in intelligent degree, advanced, highin working efficiency, safe, reliable, energy-saving and environment-friendly.

TL;DR: In this article, the direct contact evaporation of refrigerant 113 and n-pentane in a stagnant column of distilled water is investigated, and the effects of these parameters on volumetric heat transfer coefficient, holdup, and agglomeration are investigated.
Abstract: The present investigation deals with the direct contact evaporation of refrigerant 113 and n-pentane in a stagnant column of distilled water. The operational parameters investigated in the experimental study are the operating column height, the temperature difference, the dispersed phase flow rate, and the diameter and number of orifices in the distributor. The effects of these parameters on volumetric heat transfer coefficient, holdup, and agglomeration are investigated. A modified relation, based on the theoretical analysis of Smith et al. (1982), is also developed for predicting the theoretical volumetric heat transfer coefficient. Comparison with related works available in the literature shows reasonable agreement.

Abstract: A new type of scrubbing system equipped with air-atomized spray nozzles, full cone type spray nozzles and the maze shape channels has been developed and the mass transfer mechanism to remove sub-micron particles is analyzed. There is a minimal time duration for the mixture of air and sprayed water droplets should remain in the scrubbing zone for the sub-micron particles and hydrogen fluoride (HF) gas to diffuse and be captured by water droplets. The grown water droplets enter the maze shape channels which have sharp corners and bends to eliminate the water droplets by collision with the walls. As a result of applying the developed design methodology, the sub-micron particle removal efficiencies of the scrubber are found to be above 99% for the particles of 0.5–1 μm, 96% for those of 0.3–0.5 μm, and 86% for those smaller than 0.3 μm in diameter under the optimum operating condition.

TL;DR: In this paper, the combination spray tower/liquid-impelled loop reactor (LLR) was proposed to remove small amounts of poorly-water soluble pollutants from a large volume of waste gas.
Abstract: In order to remove small amounts of poorly-water soluble pollutants from a large volume of waste gas, a new system is proposed: the combination spray tower/liquid-impelled loop reactor (LLR). In this system a water-immiscible organic liquid with a high solvent capacity for the pollutant is recycled between absorber and bioreactor. The latter is designed as a liquid-impelled loop reactor, a new type of liquid/liquid contactor. The three-phase design employed here will be compared to a direct gas/water transfer system (two-phase design).
