TL;DR: In this paper, a desulfurization spray tower with load adjustment and flue gas flow equalization functions is proposed, which comprises a spray tower cylinder body and at least two absorbent serum spray devices that are arranged in parallel and a fluegas defogger are sequentially arranged between flue gases inlet and a gas outlet of the spray tower from bottom to top.
Abstract: The utility model relates to a desulfurization spray tower with load adjustment and flue gas flow equalization functions, which comprises a spray tower cylinder body. A flue gas flow equalization device, at least two absorbent serum spray devices that are arranged in parallel and a flue gas defogger are sequentially arranged between a flue gas inlet and a flue gas outlet of the spray tower cylinder body from bottom to top; each absorbent serum spray device comprises two separate spray devices that are positioned in the same plane and are arranged in a crossed manner; each separate spray device is connected with an absorbent serum tank at the bottommost part of the spray tower cylinder body through each corresponding serum recycle pump; the flue gas flow equalization device comprises a row of circular tubes which are arranged in parallel on the cross section of the spray tower cylinder body at intervals. A flue gas guide ring, the cross section of which takes the shape of a triangle, can be also arranged under each absorbent serum spray device. The desulfurization spray tower has the load adjustment performance in better precision, effectively lowers the running cost of equipment, realizes the stream guidance control of the flue gas in the tower, leads the flow distribution of the flue gas to be even, increases the two-phase turbulence intensity of the flue gas and the absorbent serum, and increases the desulfurization efficiency.

TL;DR: In this article, a stepped spray tower for desulfurization by an ammonia method, which is a countercurrent tower, is designed according to the stepped spraying method, and a plurality of spray layers composed by spray pipes are arranged inside the spray section from bottom to top, and nozzles are arranged on the spray layers.
Abstract: The utility model relates to a stepped spray tower for desulfurization by an ammonia method, which is a countercurrent tower. A flue gas inlet is arranged in the middle of the stepped spray tower, and a flue gas outlet is arranged at the top of the stepped spray tower. An oxidation tank, a cooling section, a spray section and a demisting section are sequentially arranged inside the stepped tower body from bottom to top. The spray section is designed according to the stepped spraying method, and a plurality of spray layers composed by spray pipes are arranged inside the spray section from bottom to top, and nozzles are arranged on the spray layers. Spray angles of nozzles on the uppermost spray layer of the spray section are less than or equal to 90 degrees. When the stepped spray tower for desulfurization by the ammonia method is compared with a traditional spray tower by a wet desulphurization method, liquid/gas ratio can be four times to five times lower than before, and needs for power of a absorption liquid circulating pump can be greatly decreased. Further, after flue gas is desulfurized, purification rate for main pollutant SO2 (sulfur dioxide) in the flue gas can reach 90 percent to 99 percent and escape rate of aerosol can be decreased by 20 percent to 32 percent.

TL;DR: In this article, the countercurrent extraction of nicotine from aqueous solution and tobacco juice, using kerosene and hexane as solvents, was investigated using a 57mm-diameter column operated in three modes: as a spray tower, packed with Raschig rings, and packed with multifil high efficiency packing.
Abstract: The countercurrent extraction of nicotine from aqueous solution and tobacco juice, using kerosene and hexane as solvents, was investigated A 57-mm-diameter column was operated in three modes: as a spray tower, packed with Raschig rings, and packed with Multifil high-efficiency packing Volume-based mass-transfer coefficients and HTU (height of a transfer unit) values were evaluated for various solvent/liquid ratios and various pH values The HTU values were found to vary between 101 and 07 m depending on the operating parameters selected

TL;DR: In this article, a cyclone dust collector and a spray tower are used for dedusting and spraying treatment on tail gas in sequence, and sprayed tail gas is subjected to defoaming, drying, activated carbon adsorption and the like, and then is emitted after reaching the standard after being combusted.
Abstract: The invention discloses a tail gas purification method and device for thermal desorption of organic contaminated soil. A cyclone dust collector and a spray tower are used for carrying out dedusting and spraying treatment on tail gas in sequence, and sprayed tail gas is subjected to defoaming, drying, activated carbon adsorption and the like, and then is emitted after reaching the standard after being combusted; spray liquid flows out from the lower end of the spray tower and is subjected to sedimentation treatment, and middle-layer liquid after sedimentation is filtered and then is directly used as liquid for spraying; most organic pollutants in waste water can be removed by the upper-layer liquid and the lower-layer liquid after standing sedimentation by virtue of a chemical oxidation reaction tank, and then residual organic pollutants can be removed through the manners of filter pressing, filtering, activated carbon adsorption and the like. According to the invention, for the sprayed waste liquid, degradation of the organic pollutants can be realized by the chemical oxidation effect, the organic pollutants can be removed in real sense instead of transfer of the organic pollutants, production of dangerous wastes in the process is reduced, and the tail gas purification method and device have the dual benefits of reducing disposal cost and environment risks.
