Abstract: The invention discloses a method for high-temperature efficient catalytic degradation on VOCs (volatile organic compounds) waste gas in pharmaceutical industry, and belongs to the technical field of waste gas control. The method comprises the following steps that firstly, the waste gas enters a first spray tower from the bottom and collides with alkaline spray liquid sprayed from top to bottom; acidic ingredients are neutralized to form salt; dust is caught and is discharged out from the bottom; the waste gas is exhausted from the top; the waste gas enters a second spray tower; soluble ingredients in the waste gas are dissolved to form a dissolving solution to be discharged out from the bottom; ozone is introduced into the waste gas exhausted from the top; under the effect of a nano rare-earth composite catalyst loaded with Pd elements, the ozone and moisture in the waste gas take a reaction; generated O2 and hydroxyl radicals take an oxidation reduction with the waste gas to generate CO2 and H2O; the waste gas treatment is completed. The treatment method has the advantages that the heating is not needed, and the treatment can be performed at normal temperature, so that the required cost is lower, and the method can be suitable for being used for large-scale pharmaceutical VOCs waste gas dealing.

Abstract: A model for aerodynamic characteristics predictions of flue gas desulfurization scrubber was developed. Droplets motion was considered as two-dimensional and initial droplets velocity and spraying angle were assumed as parameters. The presented model is able to predict pressure drop caused by the presence of spray, local dispersed phase concentration and droplets residence time for co- or counter-current apparatus. The results obtained for constant initial, vertical component of droplets velocity were compared to those evaluated for constant initial drops velocity (module). A range of applicability of one-dimensional model developed only for vertical drops motion is given.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a spray tower for cooling, humidifying and cleaning a gas without generating waste water due to the collision of the sprayed droplet with the inner wall of the tower and without dust being stuck to the inner wall. CONSTITUTION:This dry spray tower has a part 2 expanding successively from the top of the tower having a gas inlet 1 and an expanding part for spraying water and/or a liq. absorbent to cool and humidify the gas and/or to remove a harmful component or a spray nozzle fixed directly behind the expanding part and never generates waste water. A gas flow straightening device 6 is provided to the expanding part 2 on the upstream side of the nozzle 4 to make the flow velocity of the downward component higher at the peripheral part than at the central part. Accordingly, a perforated plate with the rate of perforation made larger at the peripheral part than at the central part, a perforated plate with the peripheral part slit, etc., are preferably used as the device 6.
