TL;DR: In this paper, a model for mass exchange in a single spray bank scrubber was developed and the relation for mass transfer units with respect to parameters characterizing dispersed and continuous phases was determined.
Abstract: On the basis of the model for aerodynamic characteristics of a FGD spray tower, a model for mass exchange in a single spray bank scrubber was developed. The relation for mass transfer units with respect to parameters characterizing dispersed and continuous phases was determined. Predictions of the scrubber efficiency for very fast and very slow reaction rates in the slurry are presented and discussed. The influence of sulfur dioxide concentration in gas and slurry feeds on the absorption efficiency are shown. A qualitative comparison with experimental data presented in the literature was performed.

TL;DR: In this article, an alkali liquor spray tower with the lower portion provided with a waste gas inlet and the top provided with waste gas outlet, and a condenser connected with the waste gas outlets is used for treating organic waste gas generated in the recycling process of a power lithium battery.
Abstract: The invention provides a device and method for treating organic waste gas generated in the recycling process of a power lithium battery and relates to the technical field of battery waste gas treatment. The device comprises an alkali liquor spray tower with the lower portion provided with a waste gas inlet and the top provided with a waste gas outlet, and a condenser connected with the waste gas outlet. The waste gas inlet is connected with a cyclone separator for separating a gas phase and a solid phase in the organic gas. The condenser is connected with an active carbon storage tank I and an active carbon storage tank II for adsorbing the waste gas through pipelines. The active carbon storage tank I and the active carbon storage tank II are connected in parallel and then sequentially connected with a filter, a vacuum pump and a gas-water separation tank through pipelines. The gas-water separation tank is connected with the condenser. The device for treating the waste gas includes the steps of gas dust removal, alkali liquor spray washing, gas condensation and pressure swing adsorption. The device and method save energy, and are economical, simple in process and high in purification efficiency.

TL;DR: In this article, an impact type atomized spray wet-process dust-collecting device for zinc oxide volatilized dust is characterized by comprising four levels of series-connected spray towers.
Abstract: An impact type atomized spray wet-process dust-collecting device for zinc oxide volatilized dust is characterized by comprising four levels of series-connected spray towers, and a 2# horizontal spray tower is arranged between a 1# vertical spray tower and a 3# vertical spray tower. A spray head and an impact type atomizer are arranged in each spray tower, and the 1# vertical spray tower, the 3# vertical spray tower and a 4# vertical spray tower are all provided with negative pressure baffles. An outlet of the dust-collecting device is provided with a sieve plate and an exhaust fan. The impact type atomized spray wet-process dust-collecting device for the zinc oxide volatilized dust has the advantages of saving a large amount of construction investment and occupied land, achieving even distribution of sprayed liquid, greatly improving operation environment, being diversified in functions, advanced in index, especially high in fluorine (F) and chlorine (C1) removing efficiency, energy-saving, environment-friendly, strong in practical applicability, convenient and simple in operation, capable of continuously operating and efficiently achieving integration of dust collection, cooling, fluoride-chlorine removing and desulfuration and easy to operate and control automatically. Simultaneously, labor intensity of workers is relieved, and production efficiency is improved.

TL;DR: The results suggest that the spray-cycle reactor is useful to oxygen-demanding fermentation because of the high k1a value in comparison with the stirred-tank reactor.
Abstract: A highly efficient spray-cycle reactor for oxygen supply was developed. A typical arrangement of the reactor consists of a spray column fitted with a nozzle and a coaxal tube, and a reservoir vessel. The culture broth was circulated between the column and vessel by a peristaltic pump. The volumetric oxygen-transfer coefficient, k1a was evaluated as a parameter for oxygen supply. The liquid circulation rate in the spraycycle reactor was represented in terms of the number of circulations. The k1a value increased as the number of circulations increased, reaching 208 h-1 at 4.4 min-1 of circulation numbers. This value was 1.8 times higher than that in a 1500-mL stirred-tank reactor under the agitation of 20.7g and the aeration of 1.0 volume per min.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a utility model for flue gas cleaning, recycling and reusing system, which is simple and reasonable in structure and low in operating cost and is used for converting waste gas into inert gases after sulfur removal, dust removal and haze reduction.
Abstract: The utility model relates to a flue gas cleaning, recycling and reusing system, and belongs to the technical field of flue gas cleaning, recycling and reusing. The utility model aims to provide the flue gas cleaning, recycling and reusing system which is simple and reasonable in structure and low in operating cost and used for converting waste flue gas into inert gases after sulfur removal, dust removal and haze reduction. With the adopted technical scheme, an air outlet of an induced draft fan is communicated with a spray tower through a first pipeline; a smoke outlet at the top of the spray tower is connected with the pipeline of a Roots blower; an air outlet of the Roots blower is communicated with an air cooler through a second pipeline; an air outlet of the air cooler is connected with the pipeline of a coal storage silo; the spray tower is provided with a circulating cooling-water machine, a water inlet of the circulating cooling-water machine is connected with a liquid box at the bottom of the spray tower; a water outlet of the circulating cooling-water machine is communicated with an atomizer of the spray tower; the liquid box of the spray tower is internally provided with a pH value sensor. The flue gas cleaning, recycling and reusing system is energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and is widely applied to cleaning, recycling and reusing of waste flue gas.
