Abstract: Present application disclosed and claimed a type of street light, particularly a high power LED light, where a multi-sided body, ranging from 4 to 12 sides, is used to house LED lights and then connected to PCB inside a main chassis, connected by a heat ring. This type of high power LED street light provides a simple design for lost-cost production of street lighting that is long-lasting and results in low maintenance cost to the use and care of such street lighting.

Abstract: The invention discloses a solar street light, solving the technical problem of choosing work modes according to the practical situations so as to save energy. The solar street light comprises a solar power system provided with a photovoltaic system and batteries, and the street light; wherein, the solar power system is electrically connected with the street light; the street light has two work modes such as normal work mode and energy-saving work mode; a control circuit is connected with the street light and comprises a timer; when timing of the timer is around the corner, the control circuit controls the street light to work according to the energy-saving work mode. In the technical proposal of the invention, as the used street light has two work modes such as the normal work mode and energy-saving work mode, under the control of the control circuit, the work mode can be chosen according to the practical situations of the passers-by before and after midnight so as to save energy.

TL;DR: In this paper, the possibility to use the power line as a communication bus will make is possible to control and dim the luminaries to save energy and when introduced in a larger scale will also improve the ITS implementation as well as increase the road safety and not at least minimize the maintenance costs for the street light system.
Abstract: The street lighting had since its start in the late 1900-century been an undeveloped area when it comes to implementation of new technologies. The drives in the late decade have been mainly influenced by the introduction of new light sources (lamps). New technologies well known to households such as dimming device, timers and low energy lamps have not entered the street lighting business until quite recently. The possibility to use the power line as a communication bus will make is possible to control and dim the luminaries to save energy. When introduced in a larger scale will also improve the ITS implementation as well as increase the road safety and not at least minimize the maintenance costs for the street light system.

Abstract: The invention discloses an intelligent solar street light control system and a control method thereof. The system comprises at least a mono-lever system with a wireless communication interface and a manager with the wireless communication interface; wherein, the mono-lever system comprises a controller, an LED lamp, a solar panel and a storage battery; the controller monitors and records the operating data of the solar panel and the storage battery; the manager can modify the parameters of the mono-lever system and store the parameters in the controller; the manager is connected with a host. By adopting the technical proposal, the invention can solve the centralized control problem of independent solar street lights, accurately set, control and monitor each street light in the whole solar street light system, inquire the working conditions of each street light, help the street light management personnel timely master the operating states of each solar street light and find out the hidden problems of the street lights so as to timely repair the street lights to prevent accidents.
