TL;DR: The researchers demonstrate the idea of adaptive street light application system using light dependent resistor sensor for light operation in day and night according to the condition, light operated in dim mode when any person come on the road then system automatically sense this condition and operate the light in the mode of higher intensity.
Abstract: In this paper, the researchers demonstrate the idea of adaptive street light application system. First of all they generate the energy from non-conventional energy source. Further, they used in application of street light system. Use of light dependent resistor sensor for light operation in day and night according to the condition, light operated in dim mode when any person come on the road then system automatically sense this condition and operate the light in the mode of higher intensity.

TL;DR: This paper is mainly focusing on building such smart cities with high quality identification and adaptation technique of light intensity of the streets with water logging area controlling and monitoring through IOT.
Abstract: In modern world, one of the key agenda of the government is to build up the smart city for easy accessibility of all the facilities. IOT can be the significant option to build up such smart cities throughout the country. This paper is mainly focusing on building such smart cities with high quality identification and adaptation technique of light intensity of the streets with water logging area controlling and monitoring through IOT. This system is controlled by an embedded body configured with ESP12, Node Red, three stage water height detection sensor and LDR module. Through the LDR light sensor the signal gets processed by the Node-Mcu and is sent to the local control room via Internet. Solar panel has been used here as a power source to charge the lithium battery of the device. When the visibility range of light of any street is not up to the mark of human eye visibility range then the data will be sent from local control room to the head control room along with the area location where the street light visibility is not suitable for human eye. In this way the head control room will get a real time system to monitor information of the lightning conditions in a single dashboard display. After analyzing the data the following conclusions can be derived that, it might have been possible that some lights have been damaged or had been stolen. Therefore the visibility range is not up to the mark. More light have to be deployed for proper visibility of that street. Similarly in rainy season the system will operate with the water level sensor to indicate which area of the city is water logged due to heavy rain. The whole system will be deployed in street light posts preferably for easy identification of those areas visibility range and water logging condition monitoring purpose. The system has been planned to develop a smart city for smooth functioning of the human daily life with preventing wastage of energy.

TL;DR: A modification plan which combines the wireless communication network with power line communication to reduce energy waste in the city lighting system at night and the intelligent street lamps operate stably and reliably is put forward.
Abstract: The paper puts forward a modification plan which combines the wireless communication network with power line communication to reduce energy waste in the city lighting system at night. The system framework is divided into three layers, the backend server controls the centralized controllers through the core network; each centralized controller controls the lamps through the access network; node controller on each street light works as a terminal which controls the light according to the commend receives from the centralized controllers through PLC. The system combines wireless communications, power line carrier, LED circuit constant current drive with PWM stepless dimming technology. The application results show that the system can reduce the electric energy consumption obviously, and the intelligent street lamps operate stably and reliably.

TL;DR: The intelligent street lights system that is controlled through IOT technology, which is connecting to sensor device "Ultrasonic" and then to microcontroller device using Wi-Fi connectivity is presented.
Abstract: Intelligent Street Lights System based on LED lights is one of the most important concepts in today's life. As now a days world depends on the IoT technologies in different areas. Street lights system will be controlled through IoT technology. In the whole world, enormous energy is consumed by the street lights, which are turned ON automatically all the night. Thus, this will waste a huge energy of the country. The intelligent street light system will work in such a way to turn the LED lights ON when the vehicle is passing through it and when not the LED lights turned OFF. The primary aim of this research paper is to reduce the power energy consumption and cost of the street lights system. This paper presents the intelligent street lights system that is controlled through IOT technology, which is connecting to sensor device "Ultrasonic" and then to microcontroller device using Wi-Fi connectivity. In addition, it will use the cloud services and mobile application to present the information of the system for the system administrator.
