Abstract: The present invention recycles waste water and especially rainwater and uses it as a supply water to operate a pot installed on a street light or a flower garden around the street light The present invention is formed of; a street light pillar which is installed on an area in which a street light is needed to performs a role of a central axis of the street light; a lamp which radiates light by being connected to the street light pillar and performs a basic role as the street light; a street light flower garden which is installed to set up plant by being connected to the street light pillar; a supply pipe which is connected to the street light flower garden and supplies water to the street light flower garden; a discharge pipe which is installed to discharge water to the outside the street light flower garden again if the water supplied through the supply pipe is too much than necessary amounts; a basis stone water tank which performs a role as a basic stone of the street light and holds water by having the empty interior; one or more waterspouts which are connected to the street light pillar and are installed to collect rainwater when it rains; and an excellent connection pipe which is installed to supply the water collected through the waterspout to the basic stone water tank

Abstract: The considerable amount of electrical power is consumed in lighting up the streets in India. However, streets remain deserted for most of the time after night fall, and a minimum frequency of vehicles pass through the street in that duration of time. The conventional lighting system on road and highways is not automatic in India. The volume of traffic and passerby is very through the streets in nighttime, and light is on for the whole night. The larger amount of light is wasted on roads meaninglessly. The same issue can be addressed with the use of automatic or flexible-lighting system technology and LED lamps which can be as solution for power saving, fast, reliable, and efficient in operation to control the amount of light utilization in a street and city. In the paper, the prototype hardware for automatic street light system is being proposed, which will use an Arduino Uno microcontroller and estimates the saving of energy in nighttime.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a solar street light system which may be charged during day and at night The solar street light system collects solar light during day and collects lighting at night so as to generate electricity Since a conventional solar street light is charged with electricity only during day with the sun in the sky, electricity may not be generated when a cloudy weather is repeated To solve such a problem, according to the present invention, a solar street light generates electricity by collecting solar light through a plurality of solar light modules The solar light modules are radially coupled to an external circumferential surface of a pillar, and a light focusing lighting unit for focusing lighting to a side of the solar light modules is formed in the street light to generate electricity by using lighting even at night Therefore, the light focusing lighting unit focuses lighting to a side of a solar light module, so electricity may be generated by collecting lighting at night when there is no solar light The solar light module is coupled to an external circumferential surface of a pillar, so stability may be ensured against strong wind or an external force A reflection plate is provided, so solar light may be maximally collected

Abstract: Present application disclosed and claimed a type of street light, particularly a high power LED light, where a multi-sided body, ranging from 4 to 12 sides, is used to house LED lights and then connected to PCB inside a main chassis, connected by a heat ring. This type of high power LED street light provides a simple design for lost-cost production of street lighting that is long-lasting and results in low maintenance cost to the use and care of such street lighting.

Abstract: Adequate illumination of city streets during night hours is essential to ensure road safety. However, even for developed cities, monitoring streetlights still remain a tedious task that relies on manual inspection reports. Existing systems mostly rely on vehicle-mounted camera or sensors fitted at every light post that is not cost-effective and scalable. In contrary, in this paper, we develop a novel cost-effective system LiSense to monitor illumination levels of street lights and detect as well as localize malfunctioning light posts. The system utilizes ambient light and GPS sensors and uses crowdsourcing. Sensor trails collected by our App from 2-wheeler covering 160 km suburban city road detects all malfunctioning street lights more than 96% in accuracy with a mean localization error of 6 meters. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first of its kind approach to monitoring street light condition which is cost-effective, scalable and suitable for developing regions.
