TL;DR: In this paper, a modified printed ultra wideband (UWB) slot antenna with a square structure and a trapezoid tuning stub as well as a band-notch characteristic is presented by embedding two L-shaped slits at the edge of the open radiating slot.
Abstract: A novel modified printed ultra-wideband (UWB) slot antenna with a square structure and a trapezoid tuning stub as well as a band-notch characteristic is presented By embedding two L-shaped slits at the edge of the open radiating slot, a tunable notched band, for avoiding interference between the UWB and WLAN systems, is achieved Moreover, by optimising the dimensions of the polygon-like slot and tuning stub, the impedance bandwidth and matching of the antenna can be improved The realised slot antenna operates over 26-136 GHz for VSWR < 2 and has a rejected band of 49-585 GHz

TL;DR: This brief proposes a design methodology based on the admittance of LaTeX notation for inverters for a dual-band wireless power transfer (WPT) system that employs two cascaded circulars defected ground structure (DGS) resonators with different capacitive loading to guarantee distinct resonances.
Abstract: This brief proposes a design methodology based on the admittance ( ${J}$ -) inverters for a dual-band wireless power transfer (WPT) system that employs two cascaded circulars defected ground structure (DGS) resonators with different capacitive loading to guarantee distinct resonances. A single microstrip line excites the two DGSs, and when two DGS resonators are coupled back to back, it transforms to a dual band pass filter leading to WPT at both bands. Each of the DGS resonators has independent coupling. Thus, the realized ${J}$ -Inverters are designed independently. Also, we employ a single stub for the matching. This stub appears with a different length according to the operating frequency; hence, an independent external coupling is achieved at both frequencies. A compact size of 30 mm ${\times } \,\, 15$ mm is fabricated achieving a WPT efficiency of more than 71% at a power transfer distance of 16 mm for both bands (0.3 and 0.7 GHz).

TL;DR: A laminar patch antenna comprises a ground plane element with a cross shaped aperture sandwiched between two dielectric layers with a patch radiator on one layer and a transmission line circuit on the other layer as discussed by the authors.
Abstract: A laminar patch antenna comprises a ground plane element with a cross shaped aperture sandwiched between two dielectric layers with a patch radiator on one dielectric layer and a transmission line circuit on the other dielectric layer. The transmission line circuit has linear conductors overlying respective sectors between slots of the aperture, the conductors providing a feedline and stub projection with lines of similar type overlying opposite sectors of the cross and conductors of different type overlying adjacent sectors of the cross.

TL;DR: In this article, a drive wheel bearing assembly, a fixed type constant velocity universal joint is coupled to a wheel bearing, mounted to one end of an intermediate shaft, and a sliding type constant velocities universal joint, mounted on the other end of the intermediate shaft.
Abstract: In a drive wheel bearing assembly, a fixed type constant velocity universal joint is coupled to a wheel bearing, mounted to one end of an intermediate shaft, and a sliding type constant velocity universal joint, is coupled to a differential, mounted to the other end portion of the intermediate shaft. One end portion of a stub shaft is connected to an inner joint ring of the constant velocity universal joint via torque transmission portions; one end portion of the intermediate shaft is connected to the other end portion of the stub shaft via torque transmission portions. A threaded portion is formed on an outer diameter portion of either the intermediate or stub shaft; a nut member threadedly engages the threaded portion; and a keeper ring is fitted into annular grooves formed on the outer diameter portion of the intermediate shaft or the stub shaft and an inner diameter portion of the nut member allowing the nut member to rotate, but not move axially.

TL;DR: In this article, a compact filter for ultra wideband (UWB) applications is proposed and developed through quasi-equal allocation of the first three resonant frequencies of a stub-loaded resonator together with strong input/output excitation.
Abstract: A compact filter for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications is proposed and developed through quasi-equal allocation of the first three resonant frequencies of a stub-loaded resonator together with strong input/output excitation. Measured results show low insertion loss and flat group delay in the entire passband as well as a wide stopband. The size for this single-layer UWB filter without feeding lines is only 9.5×5 mm (0.53 λg ×0.28 λg in which λg is the guided wavelength of 50 Ω microstrip at the centre frequency).
