TL;DR: In this article, a planar water jet impinging on a line parallel to the symmetry axis was used to model the Run Out Table in hot rolling mills, where the wall temperature was measured using embedded thermocouples and corresponding wall heat fluxes were estimated through an inverse conduction method.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the performance of Nanowire-forested (NF) surfaces and sub-cooled environments for improving critical heat flux (CHF) and thermal stability.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors analyzed the physical mechanisms driving the bubble and the jet flows from the top of these moving bubbles by numerically solving the governing equations for the velocity and temperature distributions around the bubble, and the heated wire as the bubble moves along the wire.

TL;DR: In this paper, the Gorter-Mellink mutual friction constant, A, is observed to increase with applied pressure, and a 0.1 MPa increase in pressure results in a 13.5 ± 4% enhancement of A.

09 Oct 1980TL;DR: In this article, a dual-refrigeration circuit is used to defrost a heat exchanger of one refrigeration circuit and then use the heat transferred fluid from the heat transfer media through a heat exchange to the other circuit.
Abstract: Apparatus and method for defrosting a dual refrigeration circuit refrigeration system. During defrost one of the refrigeration circuits is operated to supply heat energy to the frosted heat exchanger of the other circuit and the fan circulating heat transfer media through a heat exchanger of each circuit is reversed such that heat transfer fluid is heated by one refrigeration circuit and then used to defrost a heat exchanger of the other circuit.
