TL;DR: In this article , a bipartite transition system is proposed to synthesize a more powerful isolation supervisor for discrete event systems, which can not only disable some events, but also enforce the occurrence of some events prior to other events by external control.
Abstract: In practice, we can not only disable some events, but also enforce the occurrence of some events prior to the occurrence of other events by external control. In this paper, we combine these two control mechanisms to synthesize a more powerful supervisor. Here our control goal is to design an isolation supervisor which ensures in the closed-loop system, faults are isolatable in the sense that after a fault occurs, we can determine which type the fault belongs to by observing the output of the closed-loop system. The isolation supervisor starts to work when the occurrence of faults is detected. We then solve the isolation supervisor synthesis problem as follows. For a given discrete event system, we firstly construct a bipartite transition system which includes all feasible isolation supervisors. An isolation supervisor is feasible if it enforces only events that are physically possible. We then develop an algorithm to check whether the synthesis problem is solvable or not. The algorithm can also be used to find a valid isolation supervisor if the synthesis problem is solvable. The method of combining two control mechanisms can be used to synthesize more powerful supervisors for other supervisory control problems of discrete event systems as well.

TL;DR: This paper gives a framework of supervisory control of boiler drum level system and provides the knowledge about the Fuzzy Adaptive PID Controller and the various PID controller design method.
Abstract: This paper gives a framework of supervisory control of boiler drum level system. The design and implementation of this process is done by the LabVIEW software. The data of the process variables Level from the boiler system need to be logged in a database for further analysis and supervisory control. A LabVIEW based data logging and supervisory control program simulates the process and the generated data are logged in to the database as text file with proper indication about the status of the process variable .This paper provides the knowledge about the Fuzzy Adaptive PID Controller and the various PID controller design method.

TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that a switched nonlinear system has several useful ISS-type properties under average dwell-time switching signals if each constituent dynamical system is ISS.
Abstract: In this paper we prove that a switched nonlinear system has several useful ISS-type properties under average dwell-time switching signals if each constituent dynamical system is ISS. This extends available results for switched linear systems. We apply our result to stabilization of uncertain nonlinear systems via switching supervisory control, and show that the plant states can be kept bounded in the presence of bounded disturbances when the candidate controllers provide ISS properties with respect to the estimation errors. Detailed illustrative examples are included.

TL;DR: In this paper, a predictive VSS switching based current controller for three-phase load driven by power inverter is proposed, which is robust to load electrical parameters, fast dynamic response, reduced switching frequency and simple hardware implementation.
Abstract: A novel predictive VSS switching based current controller for three-phase load driven by power inverter is proposed. Main design specifications are robustness to load electrical parameters, fast dynamic response, reduced switching frequency and simple hardware implementation. To meet previous specifications a switching two types of switching controllers are developed: hysteresis type and predictive type. The voltage source inverter (VSI) is represented as event driven system with 23 modes of operation. The switching among these modes is governed by the supervisory control approach. The regulation with the proposed control law provides good transient response of the brushless BLDC motor control. A new logical FPGA torque and speed controller is developed, analyzed and experimentally verified.
