Abstract: Late Osagean to Meramecian Platycrinites and Eucladocrinus from Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri are redescribed and redefined from study of type material. Three of the oldest species were incorrectly synonymized with P. sarae, and this correction leads to a realignment of species systematics within Platycrinites. Accordingly, six species of Platycrinites and one species of Eucladocrinus are considered valid in the Keokuk Limestone through St. Louis Limestone of the stratotype area. Valid species include Platycrinites saffordi (Hall), P. sarae (Hall), P. georgii (Hall), P. pumilus (Hall), P. brevinodus (Hall), P. niotensis (Meek and Worthen), and Eucladocrinus millebrachiatus Wahsmuth and Springer. Nomenclatoral changes include the following: 1) P. sarae is redescribed and all junior synonyms are removed; 2) P. georgii is a valid senior synonym of P. bonoensis (White), P. aeternalis (Miller), P. boonvillensis (Miller), and P. cauducus; 3) P. pentagonus (Miller) is a junior synonym of P. niotensis; 4) P. pumilus is a valid senior synonym of P. prattenanus (Meek and Worthen), and P. monroensis (Worthen); 5) P. bloomfieldensis (Miller) is designated as a nomen dubium; and 6) Eucladocrinus millebrachiatus immaturus is a junior synonym of E. millebrachiatus.The evoluton of new species in Platycrinites was by a combination of cladogenesis and possibly anagenesis. Platycrinites sarae evolved from P. saffordi possibly through anagenesis, P. pumilus evolved from P. niotensis through cladogenesis, and P. hemisphaericus evolved through cladogenesis from P. brevinodus, although P. hemisphaericus does not occur in the geographic area of this study.

Abstract: A catalogue of the subfamilies Parandrinae (two tribes, four genera and 39 species), Prioninae (nine tribes, 83 genera, 309 species and 13 subspecies), Anoplodermatinae (three tribes, 10 genera and 27 species), Aseminae (two tribes, five genera, 18 species and two subspecies), Oxypeltinae (two genera and three species), Spondylidinae (one genus and one species) and Lepturinae (two tribes, 51 genera, 237 species and two subspecies) (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) of the Neotropical Region is presented. Under each family-group name bibliographical references are given and under each species-group name, data on the type-locality, the acronym of the institution where the type is deposited, the geographical distribution and detailed bibliographical references are provided. In Prioninae, Callipogonini: Anacanthus Audinet-Serville, 1832, preoccupied by Anacanthus Gray, 1830 (Pisces) is substituted by Chorenta Gistel, 1848. In Lepturinae, Lepturini: Euryptera virgata Gounelle, 1911, new status; Necydalini: Platynocera Blanchard, 1851, preoccupied by Platynocera Blanchard, 1847, Coleoptera, Chrysomelidae is substituted by Stenorhopalus Blanchard, 1851. Omissions to Monne (2005a, b) are given in the addenda. Abstract: SUMMARY
New material of Autunia milleryensis (Renault) Krasser, an Early Permian representative of the pteridospermous family Peltaspermaceae, is described from the Lower Permian of the Nahe area, F.G.R. Sandrewia texana Mamay appears to be a synonym of Autunia milleryensis. The new combinations Autunia thomasii and A. dzungarica are introduced. Callipteris conferta (Sternberg) Brongniart is the sterile foliage attributed to Autunia milleryensis.

Abstract: Eight species of euantennariaceous sooty moulds are distinguished in about 250 collections from New Zealand. Four species are described and illustrated with Euantennaria ascostromata, and Antennatula and Hormisciomyces imperfect states; these are E. mucronata (Moet.) Hughes, E. novae-zelandiae nsp., E. pacifica nsp., and E. caulicola n.sp. Four new species of Antennatula are described and illustrated; these are A. triseptata n.sp., A. fisherae n.sp., A. dingleyae n.sp., and A. fraserae n.sp. A. fisherae and A. dingleyae also produce a Hormisciomyces phialidic state. The two original species of Aithalomyces Woronichin are induded in Euantennaria as E. arctica (Woronichin) n.comb. and E. rhododendri (Woronichin) n.comb. Both species are illustrated and described. Limacinia alaskensis Sacc. & Scalia is considered to be a possible earlier synonym of E. rhododendri. Abstract: Summary The families Opecoelidae, Lepocreadiidae and Enenteridae are differentiated. The Enenteridae is considered to consist of three subfamilies, the Enenterinae, the Cadenatellinae subfam. nov. and the Pseudolepidapedinae, whose constituent genera are listed. The diagnostic features of the opecoelid subfamilies Opecoelinae, Plagioporinae and Stenakrinae are presented. Plagioporus is restricted to freshwater forms, and Lebouria is considered a synonym of Peracreadium, following the transfer of L. idonea Nicoll, 1909, to the latter genus as P. idoneum comb. nov. Caudotestis is considered to belong to the Stenakrinae, Trematichtys to the Allocreadiidae, Spinoplagioporus to the Enenterinae and Pycnadenoides to the Plagioporinae.
