TL;DR: A xylanolytic amyloglucosidase of Termitomyces clypeatus was characterised with respect to other amyl glucosidases as discussed by the authors, which contained high alpha-helix destabilising amino acids but no sulphur amino acid.

••
TL;DR: Interestingly less glycosylated cellobiase was resistant towards proteolytic as well as endoglycosidase-H digestion and showed higher stability than native enzyme due to increased aggregation of the protein.

TL;DR: This first report of laccase production by a Termitomyces sp.
Abstract: Laccase was detected in the culture filtrate of white-rot fungus Termitomyces clypeatus. The enzyme was found at the late phase of submerged growth in a medium containing glucose or cellulose as the carbon source. The present study indicates that laccase produced by T. clypeatus is an intracellular enzyme, released in the medium due to cell lysis at the end of the growing phase. Laccase produced by T. clypeatus is different from the extracellular polyphenol oxidase of T. albuminosus, also produced at the late phase of growth. This is the first report of laccase production by a Termitomyces sp. (© 2007 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)
