TL;DR: In this article, a method of selectively operating an ullage passivation system includes receiving at least one of a temperature signal and a vapor composition signal, and the system provides a fluid to the fuel tank, in response to a temperature exceeding a temperature threshold and a component of the vapor composition exceeding a threshold composition.
Abstract: A method of selectively operating an ullage passivation system includes receiving at least one of a temperature signal and a vapor composition signal. The method further includes operating an ullage passivation system to provide a fluid to the fuel tank, in response to at least one of a temperature exceeding a temperature threshold and a component of the vapor composition exceeding a threshold composition.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a liquid-gas fuel feeding system with a controllable pump and at least two fuel delivery passages (28.1, 28.2,... 28.N) each of which being con-figured to convey gas to a single gas consumer of at least 2 gas consumers.
Abstract: Invention relates to a liquefied gas fuel feeding system comprising: a liquefied gas container (12) configured to store liquefied gas and gaseous gas in cryogenic circumstances, a first fuel passage(14) opening into an ullage space (12.1) of the gas, a second fuel passage(16) opening into a bottom section (12.2) of the gas and provided with a controllable pump (22), at least two fuel delivery passages (28.1, 28.2,... 28.N) each of which being con-figured to convey gas to a single gas consumer of at least two gas consumers (18.1, 18.2,... 18.N), and a valve assembly (26) configured to connect alternatively the first fuel passage (14) or the second fuel passage(16) to each one of the at least two fuel delivery passages (28.1, 28.2,... 28.N).

TL;DR: In this paper, a measurement device for measuring the quantity of liquid in a tank, such as an aircraft fuel tank, and the rate of liquid flow from the tank is disclosed. But the authors do not consider the use of a single differential pressure sensor.
Abstract: A measurement device 106 fig. 1, 6 is disclosed for measuring the quantity of liquid 105 in a tank, such as an aircraft fuel tank, 100 and the rate of liquid flow from the tank. The quantity of liquid in the tank is determined from a pressure sensor in a liquid outlet pipe 101, which exits the tank at any convenient position, and a pressure sensor for measuring pressure in an ullage space, e.g. at a vent pipe on the tank. The static pressure at reference point R may be calculated. Use of a single differential pressure sensor is also disclosed. Acceleration sensors may be attached to the external liquid outlet pipe 101 and used to compensate the pressure data for effects of gravity, external accelerations and tank orientation. In order to measure rate of liquid flow from the tank, the device 106 may comprise a differential pressure flow meter, such as a venture flow meter, fig. 6. Static pressure sensor(s) 110 at the inlet of the flow meter may be used for both the level and flow measurement.

TL;DR: In this paper, the simulation of the interface movement of the vapour ullage in a volume of confined liquid under zero gravity is carried out by solving the Navier-Stokes equations in the transformed boundary-fitted curvilinear co-ordinate system using a finite difference approach.

TL;DR: In this article, the temperature variation of GHe at the time when the pressurant is coming out of a liquid oxygen tank, which is submerged in liquid oxygen, experimentally as well as numerically.
Abstract: Propellant pressurization system in liquid rocket propulsion system plays a role in supplying pressurant gas at a controlled pressure into the ullage space of propellant tanks The most important design parameter for such propellant pressurization system is the temperature of pressurant gas fed from pressurant tank, which is placed inside of cryogenic propellant tank Such pressurant is gaseous state, of which density is very sensitive to the temperature of pressurant Previous investigation dealt with thermal correlation of pressurant and external fluid at room temperature This study investigates the temperature variation of cryogenic pressurant (GHe) at the time when the pressurant is coming out of pressurant tank, which is submerged in a liquid oxygen, experimentally as well as numerically
