TL;DR: In this article, the formation of the high-Tc phase in the Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O superconducting system was investigated using X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) measurements.
Abstract: X-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) measurements were carried out to investigate the changes in the Cu ion valency through the formation of the high-Tc phase in the Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O superconducting system. The Cu2+ composition increased rapidly in the initial stages of sintering and became saturated, whereas the Cu+ and Cu3+ compositions showed a systematic change, within a certain sintering time, dependent on the sintering temperature. It was found that these changes in the Cu ion valency reflect the structural change in the formation of the high-Tc phase in this system.

TL;DR: In this article, an anti-ferroelectric ceramic capacitor material and its preparation technology is described, which applies Sn of positive four valency to replace Zr of positive 4 valency, applies the positive 3 valency La to replace 2 valency Pb in the compound of Pb(Zr, Ti) O3 to form a multi-component solid solution with Pb vacancy, the balanced formula of the charge and the valency is: (Pb1-3 2/2Laz)[(Zri-ysny)1-Tix]
Abstract: This invention discloses an anti-ferroelectric ceramic capacitor material and its preparation technology, which applies Sn of positive four valency to replace Zr of positive 4 valency, applies the positive 3 valency La to replace 2 valency Pb in the compound of Pb(Zr, Ti) O3 to form a multi-component solid solution with Pb vacancy. The balanced formula of the charge and the valency is: (Pb1-3 2/2Laz)[(Zri-ysny)1-Tix]O3, in which, x varies between 0.06`0.20, y: 0.2010.40, z varies between 0.02-0.08, or positive 2 valency Sr or Ba is added to replace 2 valency Pb in Pb(zr, Ti) O3, the formula is [(Pb1-wBw)1-3z/2Laz][Zr1-ySny]1-xTix ]O3, B expresses Sr or Ba of 2 valency, w varies between 0.02-0.12. A conventional electronic ceramic preparation method is applied in the method.

TL;DR: In this paper, the wave functions of valency electrons in the first Brillouin zone of both metals and how it is possible in general to construct an irreducible representation of a space group for the case that this group contains screw axes and gliding planes.
Abstract: In a few papers which will be published in the near future the two authors deal with the electron theory of metallic magnesium and aluminium and the interpretation of some of the properties of these elements or their solid solutions. This paper deals with the group analysis of the wave functions of valency electrons in the first Brillouin zone of both metals and shows how it is possible in general to construct an irreducible representation of a space group for the case that this group contains screw axes and gliding planes.
