TL;DR: In this paper, the index of evaluation in the construction on the basis of value engineering principle, including residental, was set up to improve the energy efficiency reconstruction of existing buildings in University and College.
Abstract: In order to improve the energy efficiency reconstruction of existing buildings in University and College, the paper sets up the index of evaluation in the construction on the basis of value engineering principle, including residental. efficiency of energy- saving, economical and environmental. AHP method is also used to give weights for different indicators and cost is considered from the aspect of life cycle. Then, a model is set up by means of value engineering. Finally, the model is presented very good performance through an example of our school.

TL;DR: In this article, a multicriteria optimization model based on a technical and economic analysis of the improvements to be made to buildings with regard to energy consumption and cost saving during the refurbishment process is presented.
Abstract: In today’s society sustainable development refers mainly to the efficient use of resources, including energy use in all human activities and the environments where these take place. Currently there is an increased need to make the energy consumption of existing buildings more efficient and the greatest opportunity in this regard is through a refurbishment process. This paper presents an application of a multicriteria optimization model based on a technical and economic analysis of the improvements to be made to buildings with regard to energy consumption and cost saving during the refurbishment process. By utilizing value engineering techniques and a cost-benefit analysis it was identified a set of renovation measures which improve the energy use and then by means of the proposed instrument it was achieved the optimal combination to obtain the maximum energetic benefit within a limited budget. In order to prove the feasibility of the proposed model a case study was conducted on a university building needing refurbishment. The present work aims to develop a specific optimization tool to support the decision maker in the early design stage of a refurbishment project by enhancing the energy efficiency and the sustainability.

TL;DR: In this article , the value engineering method was used to create a waste burner using raw materials from factory welding waste in Gununggangsir Village, Java, Indonesia, which is an alternative that is made is an environmentally friendly waste incinerator.
Abstract: The purpose of this research is to create a waste burner using raw materials from factory welding waste. The method used in this research is the value engineering method. In Gununggansir Village, there is an increase in waste, one of which is in Kedung Turi Hamlet, which is very significant, causing a buildup of garbage and inadequate waste management in Gununggangsir Village. This is an alternative that is made is an environmentally friendly waste incinerator. The process of making a garbage incinerator has the advantage of being environmentally friendly by using used goods that are not used and can still be used. In this research, what will be done is utilizing used goods that have value and function to achieve a target value. The result of using this used material is that it saves the cost of making Trush Burner which was originally worth Rp. 1,626,000 to Rp. 965,000.
