TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that 20% to 56% of the users' responses were negative, while the remaining 80% were positive. But they did not specify the percentage of negative responses.

TL;DR: In this article, it was shown that clusters of three and four sodium atoms, which have exceptionally low ionization potentials, may make contributions to the conductivity out of all proportion to their concentrations, to the extent that under nearsaturated conditions their influence could predominate by an order of magnitude.
Abstract: The electrical conductivity of sodium vapour at pressures above 10 torr cannot be calculated satisfactorily on the assumption that the vapour is monatomic. A theoretical assessment shows that clusters of three and four sodium atoms, which have exceptionally low ionization potentials, may make contributions to the conductivity out of all proportion to their concentrations, to the extent that under nearsaturated conditions their influence could predominate by an order of magnitude. The conclusions of this paper apply to all alkali metal vapours, and possibly to other metallic vapours also.

TL;DR: In this article, a porous silicon sensor was investigated as a means to determine the response specificity for organic vapours, and the sensors recorded various changes in resistivity for various organic compounds.
Abstract: A porous silicon sensor was investigated as a means to determine the response specificity for organic vapours. Porous silicon layers were fabricated by electrochemical anodization of p-type crystalline silicon in an HF ethanol solution under various conditions. The porous silicon sensors were placed in a gas chamber with various organic vapours, and the changes in electrical resistance under constant voltage of each sensor were used as detection signals. The sensors recorded various changes in resistivity for various organic vapours.

TL;DR: In this paper, material vapours on the cathode spot do not reach the substrate along a direct path, but must pass through a hot anode positioned in front of the substrate.
Abstract: The method concerns precipitation of material vapours produced by a vacuum arc evaporation process, onto a substrate in a chamber under reduced pressure. The material vapours on the cathode spot (5) do not reach the substrate (5) along a direct path, but must pass through a hot anode (1) positioned in front of the substrate. As a result of interaction with the hot anode walls, the material vapour is subjected to re-evaporation one or more times during its passage through this anode. A heatable anode (1) surrounds the face of the cathode (2) which has internal baffle plates (1b) and an opening (1a) directed towards the substrate.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors deal with the thermodynamic analysis of an ammonia-water intermittent solar refrigerator that uses a simple flat plate collector for generation of ammonia vapours from the ammonia water solution.
Abstract: The intermittent solar refrigerator consists of three major components, generator-cum-absorber. rectifier and condenser-cum-evaporator. During the generation process vapours pass through the rectifier and are condensed in the condenser. During the refrigeration process vaporising liquid ammonia in the evaporator provides cooling and the vapours are absorbed by the weak solution in the absorber. The paper deals with the thermodynamic analysis of an ammonia-water intermittent solar refrigerator that uses a simple flat plate collector for generation of ammonia vapours from the ammonia-water solution. The processes that constitute the cycle have been simulated on a digital computer. For different initial solution concentrations and generator temperatures the following parameters have been evaluated and discussed. 1) Heat absorbed during generation. 2) Amount of vapours generated and the amount of ammonia condensed. 3) Minimum evaporator temperature. 4) Effective refrigeration and 5) Coefficient of performance.
