TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a cooling and stabilization system consisting of a refrigerator-condenser and a dephlegmator, a fractionating column, a unit of thermolysis with separators of high and low pressure, and an ejector, and also a furnace.
Abstract: FIELD: oil and gas industry.SUBSTANCE: proposed unit includes cooling and stabilization system consisting of a refrigerator-condenser and a dephlegmator, a fractionating column, a unit of thermolysis with separators of high and low pressure, evaporators of high and low pressure and an ejector, and also a furnace. During operation, oil is heated in the refrigerator-condenser and sent to fractionating column to which vapours of thermolysis are fed and from the top of which the vapours of fractioning, and from the bottom the residual fraction are brought out, which after mixing with the circulating residue of thermolysis is heated in the furnace and separated in a high-pressure separator to obtain separation vapour and residue, which is directed to the high-pressure evaporator from which the vapours of thermolysis and the residue are derived, which after mixing with the vapours of separation is fed into the low-pressure evaporator, from which the low-pressure thermolysis pairs are fed into the heat-hydrolysis vapour supply line, and the residue is sent to the low-pressure separator, from which the low-pressure separation vapours are fed to the ejector located on the line of thermolysis vapours feed, and the thermolysis residue is separated into a circulating stream and a balance stream, which is fed into the fractionation vapour outlet line. Obtained mixture is cooled in the refrigerator-condenser from which heavy fraction and vapours are removed, which are condensed and stabilized in a dephlegmator to produce a stabilisation gas and a stable condensate which is mixed with the heavy fraction to obtain a stable prepared oil.EFFECT: simplification of unit and elimination of risk of coking of fractionator.1 dwg

TL;DR: In this paper, a resonant photoacoustic cell was constructed and used to determine absolute absorption coefficients of C6:0 and C8:0 fatty acid vapours at CO2 laser wavelengths.
Abstract: A resonant photoacoustic cell, capable of contamination free operation at temperatures above that of the ambient, was constructed and used to determine absolute absorption coefficients of C6:0 (hexanoic) and C8:0 (octanoic) fatty acid vapours at CO2 laser wavelengths. At atmospheric pressure, the maximum absorption coefficients at the 9R(32) line of the CO2 laser (1085.77cm−1) are 8.0 atm−1 cm−1 (C6:0 at 332K) and 8.9 atm−1 cm−1 (C8:0 at 342 K). TL;DR: In this article , the radial distribution of parameters of plasma with copper and nickel vapours admixtures in positive column of electric arc discharge were investigated by optical emission spectroscopy, and the plasma temperature was determined by the Boltzmann plot technique on the basis of absolute values of radiation intensity of both copper and Nickel atomic spectral lines.
Abstract: In this work, the radial distributions of parameters of plasma with copper and nickel vapours admixtures in positive column of electric arc discharge were investigated by optical emission spectroscopy. The plasma temperature was determined by the Boltzmann plot technique on the basis of absolute values of radiation intensity of both copper and nickel atomic spectral lines. Concentrations of both kinds of metal atoms of electrode origin were determined by the method of absolute intensities of the corresponding spectral lines of radiation of such plasma.

TL;DR: In this paper, a method and device for the detection of vapours of cocaine and associated compounds is described, which involves sampling a volume of air suspected of containing cocaine vapours and passing this air through a filtration system that removes any particulate matter and binds vapours, if present.
Abstract: A method and device for the detection of vapours of cocaine and associated compounds are disclosed. The method involves sampling a volume of air suspected of containing cocaine vapours, passing this air through a filtration system that removes any particulate matter and binds vapours of cocaine and associated compounds, if present, for further analysis. A preferred associated compound-vapour is that of ecgonidine methyl ester. The device is comprised of a sampling, filtration and vacuum port components and can be easily attached to a container, and suction source, for the sampling of air.
