TL;DR: In this article, an apparatus for determining maximum experimental safe gap (MESG) of gases and vapours up to 130°C was described, particularly useful for liquids that vaporise only at elevated temperatures.

••
TL;DR: In this paper, the composition of C4-C8 hydrocarbons was determined by adsorption sampling and gas chromatography on an aluminium oxide column and results were given for 22 specific arenes, alkenes and alkanes.

TL;DR: In this article, the concentration coefficient of viscosity of mixtures of small concentrations of organic vapour in permanent gases enables the molecular dimensions of organic molecules in the gas phase to be determined and measured with accuracy.
Abstract: Measurement of the concentration coefficient of viscosity of mixtures of small concentrations of organic vapour in permanent gases enables the molecular dimensions of organic molecules in the gas phase to be determined and measured with accuracy. The differences in size caused by chainbranching, substitutions, and other structural features are examined. The results are correlated with gas-chromatographically-determined partition coefficients of the vapours between a perfect gas phase and a solution phase in a non-polar solvent.

TL;DR: In this paper, an apparatus for gas adsorption on solids has been described and with the help of this apparatus specific surface area of carbon black was calculated by the gas adaption of nitrogen gas on carbon black at liquid air temperature.
