TL;DR: In this paper, a low-pass-to-band-pass transformation for linear phase FIR filters is proposed, in which the cutoff frequencies are controlled through two parameters: the cutoff frequency and the stopband edge frequency.
Abstract: A low-pass-to-bandpass transformation for linear phase FIR filters is discussed. The transformed bandpass filter is implemented in a network structure in which the cutoff frequencies are controlled through two parameters. The range through which the cutoff frequencies of the transformed filter can be varied depends on the cutoff frequency and the stopband edge frequency of the prototype low-pass filter. For a given prototype filter, this range is obtained from a set of simple graphs.

TL;DR: In this paper, an electronic filter which simultaneously maintains a constant bandwidth and a constant center frequency gain as the input signal frequency varies, and remains self-tuning to that center frequency over a decade range is presented.
Abstract: An electronic filter which simultaneously maintains a constant bandwidth and a constant center frequency gain as the input signal frequency varies, and remains self-tuning to that center frequency over a decade range. The filter utilizes a field effect transistor (FET) as a voltage variable resistance in the bandpass frequency determining circuit. The FET is responsive to a phase detector to achieve self-tuning.

TL;DR: In this article, a class of transitional maximally flat f.i.r. digital filters is proposed to overcome the problem of designing a filter whose magnitude response passes through a prescribed cutoff frequency point.
Abstract: Maximally flat f.i.r. digital filter design provides the advantage of giving a closed-form solution, but there still remains a problem of designing such a filter whose magnitude response passes through a prescribed cutoff frequency point. It is described here how to generate a class of transitional maximally flat f.i.r. digital filters to overcome such a difficulty.

TL;DR: In this paper, a miniaturized dual-mode bandpass filter with controllable harmonic response for dual-band applications is presented, which is designed with loading distributed capacitors in the inner area of conventional dualmode loop resonator.
Abstract: A miniaturized dual-mode bandpass filter with controllable harmonic response for dual-band applications is presented in this paper. The new bandpass filter is designed with loading distributed capacitors in the inner area of conventional dual-mode loop resonator. This loading can realize both compact size and controllable harmonic response of the filter. A demonstrated filter with the dual-band operating at 1.8 and 2.6 GHz was designed, fabricated and measured. Simulated and measured results indicate that a high selective dual-mode dual-band filter with its size reduced to 34.5% of the conventional case at about 1.8 GHz has been achieved.

TL;DR: In this article, a bandstop filter is tuned to the first bandpass filter in such a way that it blocks a contiguous wavelength range that partially overlaps with a pass-band width.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an optical bandpass filter system, which has at least one combination of a bandpass filter comprising a first nanostructured metallic layer (4) and a bandstop filter comprising a second nanostructured metallic layer (7), which are arranged one behind the other and the layer thicknesses of which differ. The bandstop filter is tuned to the first bandpass filter in such a way that it blocks a contiguous wavelength range that partially overlaps with a pass-band width of the bandpass filter. With the proposed optical filter system, different filter characteristics can be realized in a confined space alongside one another with a small pass-band width.
